This upcoming Saturday is app_this_plz, and I've put together an ad for Exsilium in the past, and am happy to do so again this month. But! To keep it from being me just shouting 'X-MEN X-MEN X-MEN' for a paragraph, I need what characters everyone else wants to!

And this month I am going to set up a nice little form to make my life easier *g*

Yes, it should look like a textarea after you post, too - that lets me copy all the formatting. Also, put the canon in your subject, and if other people have more characters for the same canon they want, they can just reply with the extra character names!

 Calling a full hiatus from now till the 6th of October. So not a long hiatus, just to cover me for vacation (disney world!!!). I'll try to do backtags since we'll have internet (and if I need to tag into anything, let me know).

Welcome to Exsilium's Activity Check! This check covers the month of September, from September 1st, 12:00AM EST until September 30th, 11:59PM EST and will count for the entire month. In this Activity Check, players will be providing their own proof of activity using the form below.

TWO of these FOUR requirements must be met within the span of ONE MONTH.


You can combine and/or duplicate these four options at your leisure. Any comments left during the month will count for activity, even if they are backtags for a thread that began in a different month, just as long as there are enough of those tags dated for this activity month.

Characters accepted during the last applications round or who were on a FULL HIATUS for 7 days or longer as listed on the Hiatus Page are exempt from this activity check but should please still comment to let us know. We will check the hiatus page for exemptions before compiling our final list. Any hiatus not noted on the hiatus page will be disregarded unless the person who hiatused approaches one of the moderators to discuss their circumstances. Okay, so things have been crazy busy offline for a while now and this Wednesday I'll finally be reaching the peak of Mount Augh, so hiatus/semi-hiatus/something for at least Wednesday through Friday. Hopefully the peak is more a peak than a plateau of crazy busy.

Expect to find some late tags in your inboxes if you've had threads with Connor, too. Mostly wrap-ups. Feel free to roll your eyes and flap your hands dismissively at them, it's all good.

Also posting here to invite anyone with characters that either really, really want to save the Exiles and/or really, really don't want to do the moon thing to the camping out in UE territory log. The Assassins will be sneaking around outside Exsilium until they're finally dragged to the moon base at the end of the month. It's going to be a lot of fun, initially watching countless Exiles get brutally killed by UE forces and being paranoid about being caught and/or bombed 24/7.

Just a note that Sayaka here is going back home for an update when everyone gets taken to the moon! She'll be back sometime towards the start of next month, so I can work on backtagging all the things I have (party/kidnapping logs I'm looking at you).

She's being moved from the start of episode 8 to the end of episode 9, between which she manages to fall into despair, turn into an eldritch abomination, and get killed by her girlfriend's suicide attack. Naturally, she's... going to be very angry and very depressed when she comes back, so I apologize for her sadsack self in advance.

I hate to do this but I'm gonna be dropping Amelia here, I've just got too much going on elsewhere to really keep up with a game as fast paced as this right now and I feel like I've been struggling to find any inspiration for things to do with her, so rather than linger around doing nothing I'm just gonna pull off the band-aid now. There's a pretty good chance I'll come back with somebody else down the road though (or probably re-app Amelia), so I'll probably see you folks around some other time!

Hey Exsilium! I'm just popping in to the OOC comm to say that I am taking an unofficial hiatus until the end of September. My motivation for game tags has been waxing and waning for the past week or two, and I think I should probably just take a break for a bit in hopes that my mojo will come back to me. So, if you currently have any threads going with Kaworu here or Toph barefootbender, this is a heads up that I will be dropping them, or at least leaving them alone for a while.

This derp here is Pidonus. She's a lot of things, as a recent post has revealed. With the reveal of what's about to happen to Exsilium, though, she's figured out that the Initiative's about to order evacuations (though not yet that they're going to the mooooon). She also knows how this sort of thing tends to end up - namely, with minimal supplies, and no luxuries.

She's got a plan for dealing with this, thanks to an odd magic item she had custom-made soon before she got called to Exsilium, which gives her an extradimensional "Mansion" space that grows and can be reconfigured as she levels. Better yet, she can place the gate anywhere and specify who goes in and out.

Her vile-ish scheme: A Transports-only speakeasy, initially funded by basically looting Exsilium. Furniture, books, toys, games, and, most of all - drinks. She'll be robbing the market stalls under cover of night, using her powers to their fullest.

She's looking for three things, in order (and a fourth begrudgingly):
1) People who she chooses to conscript into helping her "acquire" everything. Her charm powers can let her convince people to help her who might not otherwise go with it, unless doing so is truly against their nature.
2) Staff for the actual "speakeasy" once it's supplied and prepared. Besides the obvious wait staff and such, she'll also be looking for cooks, coat check, and a few other roles. Pidonus will not use her powers to talk people into this, but will be seeking people who need a distraction from what's going on.
3) Suppliers. This one's going to be less of a concern until the place is open, but Pidonus will pay as she can for items of use to a place of entertainment and drinking, or tools that could enhance the place by, for example, providing electricity or water within it. (Pidonus herself will also be running supply runs frequently.) Note that the place does have magical lighting.
4) "Competition". Pidonus built the place with several bars, all in the same (large) room, and is only stocking one. Anyone who asks and can stock one of them can run their own operation, as long as they're largely in it for the enjoyment and psychological well-being of the other Transports.

Welcome to the Moon, Transport…



Arrival for the first time will be through a walkway tunnel into the largest open space on the Moon Station. This is the Observatory, so named for the collection of monitors ringing the walls, some with controls to manipulate views, others on set points. The Initiative AI can be summoned to any available monitor to fill Transports in on the status of Moon Base reclamation, the space shuttle’s progress, current live bodies present on base, and current status of the Transporter Pad and associated machinery.

From here, there are only a few places to go: the reclaimed and restored living pod wings, the cafeteria, and the virtual simulation rooms. Over the course of the month of October, Transport efforts will open up access to further areas on base, which are currently closed off and not yet restored.

The entire Moon Base is simulating Earth gravity. Moving into an area before it’s made habitable risks encountering life support function errors, Moon gravity (which is 1/6ths of Earth’s), and such immense cold that you may simply wish to die. Rooms within the virtual simulation rooms will have the capacity to have gravity adjustments between Earth gravity, Moon gravity, and Zero gravity. These are the only areas where gravity is under Transport control.

Starting in the beginning of October, the Initiates will all be teleported to the moon. Werewolves included. This is a little bit of a problem for creatures who operate on lunar cycles.

I hate to keep up the drop train, but as soon as everyone's home, Kagura's leaving. My school load doesn't give me enough time to properly devote myself to this amazing game, and I don't wanna be the person trying to stay in such a fast paced game when I myself will have to be slow. Kagura won't be leaving anything for anyone, sorry. She tried to keep as little as possible, but if anyone wants to find her stuff somewhere out in the woods, go on ahead. It would just be the basics, really.

Again, sorry. I really love this game, and hopefully I'll be able to return someday. If you'd like to keep in contact, my plurk is nadeline and I won't mind if you add me there.

Well guys-

It's been a fun ride. Been in this game with Equius since game start and I have to say I really loved it through and through. Unfortunately it's gotten big and fast, and over this time I've procured two jobs. There's no way I can keep up so it's time to say good bye.

Thank you everyone I played with and I'm so happy I met a bunch of wicked new people, I hope we can play together again in the future. If you're ever up for a muse box, or think you need a little Equius in your life anywhere, definitely hit me up.
