Life has gotten way too crazy for me to keep up with a game of this size. My partner and I just closed on a house AND it's rush season for my work, I just don't have time to participate in all the fun. I feel awful about it but hiatusing for 6 weeks until after the move and Halloween are over isn't fair to my castmates.

Sorry to folks who were so welcoming to Sanji, especially his roommates and Lucy. I may be back again in a couple months when life calms down, with him or somebody else, you never know!

Just a note that after the events of the Sept 15th party, Catsovi and the Misery fled to the Outlands together and remained there, on the run, until today. BECAUSE AS OF TODAY, SEPTEMBER 17TH, CAT HAS BEEN KILLED AND THE MISERY HAS VANISHED TO RETURN TO ITS HOMEWORLD.

(Aaaand so Cat will be dropped from the game around the end of this month; I'll just be keeping his account around for backtags until then!)

But as real life has currently caught me in a vise, I, uh. I have not had a chance to put up any posts or logs pertaining to any of the above events. I'm hoping that I will be released from said vise in a day or three, at which point I will be throwing up a backdated comment at the party log and a separate (also backdated) open log for anyone who wants to engage Cat and the Misery while they're in the Outlands. APOLOGIES FOR THE DELAY. I will also hopefully be picking up all tags that people are waiting on me for, soon!! hopefully!!!

I like how my job picks the big events to start dumping extra hours on me. I knew for a while they were coming up next week, but in the last two days I had a few things tossed at me at the last minute.

So, yeah, I will be slow at best until September 28th or so. I do still intend to tag into the party and [did that] to prioritize the rescue mission (though I'm not totally positive who he was supposed to be helping oops), but otherwise my pace is going to be pretty slow for a bit. Sorry for any inconvenience!

I know, it's only been a month, and I'm really, really sorry!! I definitely intended to stay much longer with Dirk, and I had so many plans with a lot of you here, but evidently Dirk is just not a good fit for me. And due to law school completely soaking up my time, I'm not really able to commit to rereading or canon reviewing or anything like that. I apologize for my failure but I had SO MUCH FUN with Dirk's CR my first month here. And I do intend to keep up with backtags in the meantime!!

If you want to discuss anything like where the hell this douchebag's been during this or that or whatever, please drop me a line and we can talk about it.

I'm going to be hiatusing my characters - Barbara Gordon and Jean Summers - for two weeks. If anyone wants to handwave anything with them, I'll still be on plurk (shobogan).

This is my official notice that I am finally over my extremely extended hiatus after a crazy summer of conventions and sewing and am ready to buckle down with Exsilium for the long haul.

I will be back-tagging everything, and if it is too old please feel free to drop the thread! If we had any tagging or CR plans you would like to remind me of then don't be afraid to give me a poke over AIM or plurk and I will make sure they happen!

OKAY SO sorry for the back and forth. The situation is now resolved and I'm back and I will be here for the event starting tonight (and trying to get to backtags eventually, especially the newbie log, really sorry about that). I will be on hiatus again from the 25th to October 2 since I'm going to L.A. and some stuff, so here's like a way, way advance warning for that so I don't have to keep spamming the comm.

So yeah again contact me if you want Jesse taking your character's power temporarily for the event. Here is what that entails. Jesse will be advertising this service ICly during the mission.

As of this post, the party log for the 15th is now up, and we've now added the Missions Log as well.

Things will be going generally well for any party-goers until about 10PM, so if you’d like your character to show up and have a lovely time, just make sure they leave before then. But come 10PM, the Misery will make its giant, rolling, crying, power-nullifying appearance, and that will kick off the last wave of the kidnappings. (Note: to those who are being mind-controlled to do their kidnapping — they’ll have to get their victims out of mile radius range of the Misery before their powers will work, if they’re going to be using any!)

Those being mind-controlled and their kidnap-victims will be clearing out to the UE within the hour, but they’re not being secretive about it anymore. If anyone manages to follow them, they will be attacked by the Border Patrol that are picking up their last round of victims — but they can be followed in stealth. Any rescue attempts, such as Ed Elric’s still-open rescue attempt, before the official, coordinated attack will fail, but characters are certainly welcome to make the attempt. Either way, it’s highly recommended that someone keep an eye on where the UE-and-victims group heads, so they can report the location back to the Transports and Initiative.

so this has been a long long looong time coming but i'm dropping dean winchester and thus bowing out of the game! my activity has been incredibly bad for the longest time (and i swear i don't usually drag out dropping for this long), and i've been sticking it out for my awesome cr -- both new and old -- until now. unfortunately i feel like i'm just not around/mojo'd enough to justify taking up a character that would be all up in everyone's business any longer, so it's time to call it quits. 8( 

thank you for the amazing times tho!!! i've been here over a year and it's been so so fun. this game is absolutely fantastic and i have little doubt i won't be back with a new character at some point.

Hello, all! I'm here today with a little footnote to the shit that's about to go down with the imminent modplot.

The gist of it is that following the party on the 15th, Ed here (who wasn't among the kidnapped) is going to flip tables for various reasons. Since he's a shounen protagonist, flipping tables is going to take the form of haring off after the kidnapped Transports without waiting for the Initiative to make their move. However, he's not dead set on rushing off by himself, and will even be nice enough to announce it on the network just before he leaves - strength in numbers, right?

Anybody who is enough of a twit to go along with this will spend the next couple of days hiking, train-hopping and otherwise into UE territory, following the trail of the kidnapped, and reach the compound on the 17th - but since they're not going to have a plan beyond charging in with all guns blazing, they will be captured and, what with there happening to be a convenient holding facility right there, thrown in themselves, left to ponder their life choices and await rescue along with the others.

Basically, this is a mod-approved chance if you missed kidnapping signups for whatever reason to handwave your (powered or not, doesn't matter) character into the UE compound anyway! They won't be there as long as the originally kidnapped, so they won't have quite as much time to adjust or make their way into the more secure areas, but it's entirely possible that they could manage some poking around and/or bump into the characters already there.

Updating Berserker!

He'll be coming back from after his death in Fate/Zero, so he'll be in a considerably better mood having gotten his way before everything ended. In reality, Berserker's one of the 1-2 people at the end of Fate/Zero who was happy in the end. :)

He may even smile a little more!

Just don't be too concerned when he shows up covered in blood and smiling like he just dunked on somebody.

he's also coming in with 2 years of cr from the incredibly ancient game back on LJ, rivelata. mostly that just means that he knows how to go through life without killing everyone he meets now, and also that he has an annoying curse put on him to reflect any damage he does to people back on himself. really puts a hamper on his general destructiveness. :[

Hey Exsilium, so I'm being a little over eager about this and posting now, but Kili will be dying in the upcoming plot. When the Misery rolls into town, it will also be rolling over one unfortunate dwarf protecting his friends.

Whoops.

Anyway, figured I'd post now so I don't forget to OOCly let people know. He'll be gone for a few days. Party's on the 15th yes? So Kili will probs be showing back up mid to late next week. Canon update will not be happening as I'm waiting for the next movie to do that.
