My literal evil twin has decided that right after Christmas is an awesome time to get married, so I have to fly down to San Diego for a week and be there for him, as you do. I won't have much internet access beyond my phone and maaaybe my Kindle, so I'll have to see you folks when I get back.

AT THAT TIME: Adrasteius will be searching for space to build a clinic down on earth-soil! He will be asking for help on that matter pretty much the very moment I get back home.

Meanwhile, Koltira is mad for blood, so you may hear some horrible bestial howling on the wind if you're wandering the winter wilderness, distinct from all the other horrible bestial howling out there.

Hello Exsilium! Kiva here just to let you guys know I'm dropping Eridan Ampora from the game. For a while now my activity with him has been pretty bare and I've hardly been able to muster up the enthusiasm for him like I used to, so I figured it was best to finally let him go.

It was a difficult decision considering he's been here so long and the character I joined Exsilium with in the first place. I wanna thank everyone who put up with him in that time and I adored all the CR I made with him over the past year and a half. He had a great run and he couldn't have lasted as long as he did without such good people to play him off of.

However I'm not dropping entirely! sucks for you guys I'll still be around with Gin and Lucifer, since the game itself's still so near and dear to me.

Also I should probably mention I was on an unannounced hiatus since Christmas which should end in about a day or two, so excuse all the unanswered tags. I'll get to 'em soon, and as usual, feel free to ignore them if you're not interested in those threads anymore I'd totally understand.

Hello Exsilium! This is Ishmael, and I come to you guys today with two announcements: one, head moderator and plot moderator applications will be opening again today, and remain open through until the 8th of January. Two, I am resigning as a head moderator from Exsilium.

HELLO FRIENDS hope you had a merry winter holidays! A new year is coming, and with it, a new year to plot. Now that the Exsilium story has hit a chapter in which Transports are pretty much running the show for the time being, but it's been a pretty busy time of year for many, it seems like it might be handy to have an OOC get-together to throw around some ideas on Big Stuff For Characters To Do Together, to catch up on plot-and-subplot details (of which I'm not clear on the entirety of myself), for announcements/interestgathers for subplot ideas, and for general asking of questions that other people besides our mods might be able to help answer.

So without further ado:

I just wanted to give a heads up that I've been really sick. I called in sick for work yesterday, then tried to tough it out today... and well, I haven't been getting any better. Tags will be slower (than normal...) and a little more sporadic... but I'm still interested in tagging a lot of threads that I still have going.

Hellooooo, Exsilium! Pretend this is a mod account, I needed a paid for a poll. SO THEN, two things!

One, we're changing up the way we do apps slightly. Previously we've started accepting people and allowing them to post to the intro log as soon as we can, but that has always given rise to questions like "but are you sure everyone's coming in in the same wave" and "but my app wasn't accepted until the 5th day, where the crap has my character been all this time". So we're tweaking things slightly!

Starting on Jan 1st, apps will be processed as usual, but no community acceptance will be given until Jan 8th. The newcomer log will be put up on Jan 8th as well, so people are free to tag in in a rush that's a little bit more true-to-IC.

This is an IC change, as well! Feel free to have characters wonder why the Transporter isn't spitting people out on the 1st, as usual.


And secondly, the poll! Our OOC comm becomes a pretty busy place after the 1st of every month, and it's easy to miss things. So what would you guys say to having all OOC intros placed on a single post meant for new players/characters to introduce themselves on? This post would be pinned to the top of the comm for the week of apps as well as mod plurked, so there'd be no fear of people not seeing your intro. We leave it up to you if you'd like to change it, or keep the system as is!

1) So I thought my seasonal job was going to leave me with more time/energy in December than it actually did. And then surprise Christmas tooth infection was a thing. I AM STILL SORT OF HERE THOUGH and hopefully by the end of next week will be more decidedly 'here'.

2) Tomorrow is ATP! Which is really short notice, I know. So I'm going to reuse November's list and you can go add to it there.

It was fun while it lasted, but I haven't been able to keep my head in the game and keep up ever since I apped Lockon, so it's time to admit defeat and bow out.

I want to thank everyone who welcomed me warmly, and those who threaded with Lockon or were looking forward to it. If anyone needs a few tags for AC or to wrap something up, I should be able to manage, but otherwise this is farewell Exsilium! o/

Forgot to post this before, but I will be on hiatus until somewhere between January 5th to the 7th. After family things, I will be traveling out of the country for a while.

Hey, everyone! Just a heads up, um, I've been on hiatus since the eleventh. (It ends on the 28th!) Jean is just on autopilot, but Babs (bodilesswarrior) has gone home for a bit.

It's not long at all, from her perspective! Maybe a week or two from her last canon point. She's just updated enough to have reunited with her daughter. (Then Cass goes and dies for a bit but shhhh.)

Just as a heads up! Vynd, who plays Flora / showmeyourwreath is in the middle of a power outage up in the wastes of the frozen north (aka. Canada) and won't be back around to tag until it gets restored.

So, like most everyone, I'm going to be away as of tomorrow evening, back on the 26th, so only for two to three days, but I figured I would put something up anyway just in case to let everyone know. I'll be around tomorrow until we head off early evening to tag at least. This applies to Estelle here and Hisoka as well (deathofempathy).

I'm just declaring myself back from my not!hiatus! I've missed you all and thank you so much for your patience with me. I've been pretty madly disorganised the past three or four months and entirely absent for pretty much the last two, but things are looking much more manageable now so I'm hoping to jump right back into the swing of things and stay on top of tags and CR. I'm really sorry for all the unreliability for the last little while.

On that note, to make keeping on top of stuff easier I'm going to drop a bunch of older threads with the exceptions of a couple. No hard feelings if you aren't feeling a thread any more, and if you would like to continue something for the sake of establishing/expanding cr, just let me know! There's just so many that it seemed easier to start fresh but I'm happy to follow stuff up, too.

Donny will be officially back in the game from 24th December, but I'm totally open to forward dating some adventures. He's from a fair jump into the future and in a much better place, mostly, albeit a bit scarred and with 33.3% less annoying sisters. He's also going to be clad only in a bedsheet, good work sir.

Helena will be returning from the White Canary arc sometime between Christmas and New Years, and be found/scraped off the floor by Chloe! Lucky Chloe also gets to be the first Exsiliumer to see that hideous belly window (sigh). I'll try and figure out some more deets for her soon, but if you'd like to do anything with her or Donny let me knoooowww
