Heyoooo. A few things!

I'm heading off on hiatus until January 9 or so, because I will be bouncing around NY and NJ with limited to zero computer access. I'll try to wrap up some outstanding threads before my flight, but there are a lot of those and I apologize if I miss yours!

Jesse Pinkman will also be dying of a heroin overdose on Friday the 13th, thanks to a humiliating revenge scheme by Lucifer. Jesse's vomit-soaked body will be discovered by his partner Mike - though whether the details of his demise will be revealed to the general public, I have no idea! I leave it to Jesse's caretakers to decide. Aristeas will fail to revive him, if it's even back up and running by then, becaaaauuuuse...

Jesse's going home for a canon update! He will be returning from the end of Ozymandias, which I will try to avoid spoiling in case you're not caught up with S5b yet. (Netflix, get with it.) Jesse will technically be coming back with the new arrivals on the 1st 8th, but I'll most likely not be able to get a log up in time. We'll see. Anyway, he'll need medical attention and will probably be immediately swept somewhere private, so he'll be easy to miss.

And finally, as a result of the... many... things... he'll be going through back home, his weapon will be experiencing some changes. One might call it broken. He'll be considerably weaker than before. No longer need ye fear his mighty wrath. The dog has been chained and muzzled. Etc., etc.

An important note to everyone who currently holds a power that Jesse has bestowed upon them: that power will be vanishing at the exact moment of Jesse's death, which is around 4 pm on December 13. Gone. Poof. Forever. Goodbye. It will not return to you when he does. Adios. (Obviously, if the power was originally yours, you still have it.)

I hate to do this so soon after joining but given my slowness so far this month and my own doubts that will be changing before the New Year for various personal reasons and because end of the year means obligations and deadlines, it seems safest to call a hiatus for now.

Just affects Doug/Wayne here, he'll be uh doing his "trying to organize shit" thing + getting the hell off the moon (at some point??) + basking in his wife's presence, that kind of stuff. I will still be backtagging my current threads as quickly as I can (with apologies in advance for any slowness) but I will probably take it easy on tagging new posts/logs until I'm fully back in action, so please let me know if you need or want me anywhere and I'll get right on it!

Hello Exsilium, so good to be back. You can call me Minnie and I'm bringing in another addition to the cast of gay kings in color filters, K. Saruhiko Fushimi is his name, a surly 19-year-old who isn't likely to show you any interest. Unless your name is Misaki Yata: then you get all his interest, isn't that awesome? He's currently #3 in the Blue clan and used to run with the Red clan, but he split because Homra's full of thugs and idiots. And also cuz his bff talked to other people. He's just tons of fun all around. (If you're canon familiar, he's from right before shit goes down in Episode 11.)

I promise I'm much more fun than he is, though, so if you'd like to plot or chat at any time please do hit up my RP plurk stormborn, though I'd appreciate a heads-up if you're adding me. I'm also occasionally on AIM at peachy.lychee.

Just dropping a note to say that Tempest will be ~disappearing~ for a day or two for a canon update! She gets to learn that she didn't actually die permanently, and that her country has suddenly broken into war! Yay! . . . wait.

When she comes back she'll be a year and a few months older, a little more mature, and a little less failboat about interacting with people. Details are linked up above for anyone interested in that tl;dr.

As some of you saw, Korra's putting together an exploration group for the new winter landscape. There's more people than I thought, so I think I'll open this to sign ups! Doesn't matter if you reply to the post or not, just let me know if you'd like to participate in here.

To make things less confusing in the actual log, I'll put the characters into groups (depending on the number of people participating!) through the randomizer. The log itself will be split into several parts, as well: a general mingle/getting ready thread, followed by however many groups we end up having. If you guys would like, I can pick one or two aspects of the new setting for each group to encounter so each thread stays at least somewhat different! You'll also have ample opportunity to interact with characters you might not have had a chance to before :)

If you don't have me on plurk, the gist of it is that things of a crappy nature are hitting the fan and I'm not in a very good place mentally to do anything remotely fun.

Hopefully the dust settles before the holidays, but taking the month to get my head back on straight and have a backup plan in the event the inevitable occurs.

The name's Dante and I'm joining the game (again) as Celeborn from Lord of the Rings. For those of you who know the book/film series, Celeborn is the Lord of Lothlórien also known as the "Golden Woods" and is the husband of Lady Galadriel and father of Celebrian. He's also the grandfather of Arwen since Celebrian is Arwen's mother. So yeah, have another member of the Lord of the Rings royal elf family! j/k

Unlike Cao Cao from Dynasty Warriors, Celeborn is certainly more laid-back and less warmongering. If anything he's a wise, worldly, and fairly quiet fellow who doesn't speak often unless necessary. He's quite devoted to his family and towards others. In the Lord of the Rings books, Celeborn played a much larger role than he did in the movie, but I honestly think actor Marton Csokas' fit the role well at least.

My name is Mira, I'm completely new to this game, and I've brought you Angel from the Borderlands series.

For the canon unfamiliar, it's more or less about tracking down alien treasure on a planet where everything wants to kill you and the answer to most any problem is to shoot it in the face. Angel herself is a polite, aggressively sheltered young woman who also happens to be working for the villain she's helping the main characters take down. She's pretty powerful when it comes to technology and will probably be watching the network 24/7 so that she can know more about everyone. With little idea what friendship really means, recovering from death, and seeing the sun for the first time in years, what could go wrong?

Hi Exsilium! My name is Ty O and I'm boosting your robot population by bringing in Nova Prime from Transformers IDW!

For the canonblind, he was basically the robot king of Cybertron back in ancient times for their civilization. He is a staunch patriot that developed a little too much ambition and a hunger for conquest. Nova can be a bit arrogant and space racist, but will otherwise be making nice with his neighbors. And will be trying to make his successor more worthy of the title Prime (STARES AT RODIMUS).

Name's Wolfeh and I'm a newcomer to the ranks~ I'm joining your lovely game here with this pissy little fur-ball by the name of Rocket Raccoon, a member of the Marvel Comics team Guardians of the Galaxy.

First, our log community now has both an "! open" and "! closed" tag to be used by choice to mark a post as open to all characters and players, or closed to a select group. These are entirely optional; we will review the usage of these tags again in three months to see if there's any change that will be further beneficial at that time.

Now, in more exciting news... With the poll for voting on the next plot arc in Exsilium now closed, we're happy to announce that by a narrow margin...

The Altering and Controlling the Development of Cloning Technologies and Genetic Alteration Technologies Arc will be completed first!

More details on what that entails will be coming up in the next few days (up to a week), but in the interim, starting today, Transports will be able to move Earthside. They may choose to stay on the moon. That is at their own descretion. The Transport Pad will be coming down due to system strains noted by the AI, which is in part due to needing to bring the Aristeas technology back online. (The Aristeas technology is the means by which Transports can be resurrected.) The Scouting group has managed to make contact with the current Initiative Group, hereafter called the New Initiative. The New Initiative has been able to provide a location and ability to connect to the excess power being used in the main city of Winter Wonderland Exsilium, but they don't have the resources for finding places for 350+ people to live, let alone to clothe and feed them.

Transports will be the only ones in control of the Transport Pad, or any use there-of. The New Initiative has no rights to it, and has only bargained to work with the Transports to achieve mutual goals concerning the United Earth and the state of current events. Control of time travel remains in Transport hands.

The information on the original Winter Wonderland post still stands! Characters will be responsible for finding their own housing, which can be achieved through bartering, favours, pleading, or strong-arming, if they're unable to build a shelter of their own. Initially all Transports will be brought down to the facility which will be housing the Transport Pad, located about a two miles away from the main city, ironically called Exsilium. It is not located over London, as the old city of Exsilium was. It will be possible to stay in the facility where the Transport Pad is located for short terms; there isn't enough room for all the Transports to stay there permanently, so only those with difficulties navigating the snow will be granted a pass to stay for longer, along with the Old Initiative Employees who were stranded on the moon with the Transports the last few months.

The Transport Pad will begin being dismantled now, and will be shuttled down to Earth and reconstructed and functional again by December 7th, ICly. At that point, missions will technically begin again, though it may take the mod team until as late as the 14th to have the new roster of missions up for selection in regards to the next three plot arcs Exsilium the game will be moving through. We're working our hardest on this now, to be able to bring it to you guys as soon as possible!

To celebrate Allen Walker's 1 year anniversary in Exsilium, he's taking a short trip home - well, a short trip in Exsilium's time, but it'll be a little over a year for him. It's a canon bump from chapter 86 to 207; he's leaving today, and he'll be returning probably in a day or two.

I heard y'all like Tales and so I'm Mia (although you can also call me Jayne I have fifteen names, I swear), bringing you your newest Abyssee, Anise Tatlin!

Anise is your average, sweet, and totally adorable little girl who probably isn't after your money at all, nope nope. Most of the time she's really cute and doing average little girl things like this, but if you get on her bad side, she'll probably look more like this. Despite what she lets on, she is pretty mature for her age, and she's a pretty decent cook.

She's also a pretty capable fighter (and technically a soldier), and her weapon in Exsilium is a giant stuffed animal.
