greetings exsilium! my name is rift, and i'm brand new here with gaius from tales of xillia. he's sort of(?) the villain of the first game, but he gets better and becomes a playable character in the sequel. in his canon, he's a legendary hero and king, though his ideals and desire to protect his people lead to him becoming something of a crazy person. he tends to be overly stern and serious, though he has a strange sense of humor under his ever-present scowl.

he'll be coming from after the end of tales of xillia, but before tales of xillia 2. in other words, the large, somewhat nebulous gap between the two games. because xillia hasn't been out here for very long, if you'd like to avoid being spoiled on anything when threading with him, please feel free to let me know! just go ahead and say something on his permissions post (which i swear i'll set up soon...).

Hi guys, this is Ruru bringing in my fifth (say what?) character to Exsilium. This here is Jude Mathis from the shiny new game (if a game that's a couple years old can still be called that), Tales of Xillia! He's a fifteen year old med student who's very good at punching monsters until they stop attacking. And for those of you familiar with the game I'm taking him more... middle-ish towards the end game timeline wise.

I'd say more about him, but as I mentioned I'm planning on sleeping soon because it's dumbly late so I'll just leave the intro at this for now, and will be tossing up a comment for him on the new kids log when I wake up tomorrow.

Just dropping a note here that Oz is going to be canon updated this week. It's a pretty small update just into the next chapter, so while he'll come back with some FEELINGS, things won't be dramatically different. He'll be vanishing for the update on Monday and getting back on Tuesday.

Hey, Exsilium! This is Loki, player of that weirdo blonde Nunnally/Magical Device Nemo from Code Geass, bringing in my second character. Her name is Yuma Chitose, and she's from that Madoka Magica spin-off series, Oriko Magica! (You know, the one with the homicidal magical girls and the hilariously bad art.)

She's a teeny tiny child who just wants love!! Also, she can use a giant cat-tailed mallet to cause miniature earthquakes and can heal wounds. She's the useful kind of mascot kid, you know. She's actually one of the more well-adjusted characters in the series, but she does have an abusive past, so if that might bother anyone, please check out her opt-out post in advance.

Hello, Exsilium! This is Alcyone, player of Arya Stark, Han Solo and Sweet Pea, with my fourth and final character.

I'm bringing in Vanozza Cattaneo of The Borgias. Vanozza is the former mistress of Pope Alexander VI and the mother of his four children. She's one of the good Borgias (yes, they exist), gracious, clever, well-mannered, and considerate even when casually talking about helping push a man onto a blade her son is holding. She'll happily mother everyone, enjoy pointing out all the ways You're Doing It Wrong (except she'll do it in a really, really nice way) and drop pearls of wisdom such as marry the firstborn, fool around with the brother and when you tire of them both pick a random lover.


I am almost certain this was said word for word in the show.
Also being mean to mommy is a one-way trip to Cesare's shit list. The more you know.

He's kind of a jerk and kind of a sweetheart and is guided through life by the spiritual input of his balls. Nope, not kidding. And he's a werewolf, his best friend doesn't know that he's a vampire, and his girlfriend believes she was knocked up by an angel. It's an interesting life Peter lives.

Hey, Exsilium, 100% newbie here! I'm Glass, brand new to the game (but I know I know some of you) and your awesome Marvel cast ruthlessly enabled me into joining. So I'm bringing in Peter Quill, aka. Star-Lord (he didn't pick it), leader of the Guardians of the Galaxy (he didn't pick that name either), dedicated to trying to save the galaxy and fix colossal messes waaaaaaaay more powerful than he is with a team of basically the only people who would listen to him (most of the time), but it works fantastically. They have a raccoon with a really big gun and a walking tree. It's really great. Trust me on this.

Sakura hails from Chapter 4 of Dangan Ronpa, which some may remember as the worst, most despair-inducing chapter of Dangan Ronpa. I will endeavor not to spoil anyone for this or any other chapter of Dangan Ronpa in my non Dangans threads. It won't be difficult. Sakura is not incredibly forthcoming about... anything, really. It's interesting to go from Nitoh who literally says everything with no filter to Sakura who usually doesn't say anything.

Good day Exsilium, my name is Manda and some of you may remember me being here some months ago with Rue from the Hunger Games. Well now I'm back with my other staple muse, Seras Victoria of Hellsing!

She's a lovely English girl who happens to be a massively overpowered vampire - though nothing next to her Daddypire - and part of an Organisation dedicated to hunting vampires in the name of God, Queen and country. Her weapon will be her standard canon BFG, the Harkonnen.

Seras is coming to you from the epilogue of Hellsing so spoiler warning (which you may take as me enabling you to watch/read the series if you haven't already).

i'm bringing along this spy dick here who you probably won't recognise because he's from a totally obscure canon. his name's bond. james bond. and he will be returning to exsilium with all his previous knowledge of the universe from his last (brief) visit. he will, however, be canon updated this time to the end of his latest movie, skyfall, although i doubt he'll be spouting any spoilers out if you have yet to see it (why have you not? :|)
