greetings exsilium! my name is rift, and i'm brand new here with gaius from tales of xillia. he's sort of(?) the villain of the first game, but he gets better and becomes a playable character in the sequel. in his canon, he's a legendary hero and king, though his ideals and desire to protect his people lead to him becoming something of a crazy person. he tends to be overly stern and serious, though he has a strange sense of humor under his ever-present scowl.

he'll be coming from after the end of tales of xillia, but before tales of xillia 2. in other words, the large, somewhat nebulous gap between the two games. because xillia hasn't been out here for very long, if you'd like to avoid being spoiled on anything when threading with him, please feel free to let me know! just go ahead and say something on his permissions post (which i swear i'll set up soon...).

that's what i thought... completely unlike xillia, a totally legit word meant to convey some made up number somewhere around a million or billion.

haha, yeah! jude and gaius's bizarre relationship is definitely one of my favorite parts of the first game, so it'll be fun to play them out together! and i apologize in advance for any of gaius's strange and/or awkwardness.

Hi Cherry, and thanks! I'm a big fan of Graces too, so it should be fun to see how Gaius and Asbel interact. He's definitely a far cry from Richard, but they should get along okay... maybe... hopefully.
