homeward bound: guard dog sign ups
The results are in, and our official volunteer for the highly experimental trip back to a home world (IC announcement here) is Elmer C Albatross! That means there’s just one more round of sign ups, that being the volunteer team to go with him and a few Initiative NPCs to his world.
It’s important to note that characters for this mission must all be completely voluntary, and the Initiative will stress many times that this is experimental, potentially dangerous, and the worst could happen. They intend to only stay in Elmer’s world for a day, but this group may never see Exsilium again, if something goes wrong. Everyone along must be willing to take the risk.
We’re aiming to have a group of 7 to 10 people, but we can expand that number if there’s a lot of interest. OOCly, the characters will be out of Exsilium and out of contact with Exsilium for 1 full day, before heading home again. They want mostly capable fighters, but if non-fighters are feeling up to the risk, they can be taken along to help the Initiative NPCs take readings and gather data.
A few people signed up on the previous plotting post for that, so just confirm here if you’d still like to have your character along! We can only take one character per player, and if we have more than 15 characters, we’ll be using a Random Number Generator to fill our 15 slots.
Sign ups are on this page! Just comment with which character you're tossing in. This is open until 12:01 AM EST on the 14th, and the log will go up as soon as we have our volunteer team worked out. Sign ups are closed, and the log is here.
