So, a few days ago Ibin made a post requesting volunteers for a medical supplies run. If you'd like to be in on it, just let me know here or there! Along the way, someone suggested we go back and game the system in order to have enough funds to purchase whatever we want. While that sounds fun, I'm under the impression we're probably going to make pretty heavy use of that tactic in the actual assaults on the UE, so I'm leaning a little more towards making this a (somewhat quicker) sneak-and-grab. I'm happy to pull financial shenanigans if that's what people want to do, though. If anyone who wants to be in on this mission has a preference, just comment on it.

Ibin's been looking through history for a suitably medically advanced and prosperous time and place, where the theft of various things hopefully won't cause too much suffering. I'm open to ideas, but right now I'm leaning towards 2050s Boston, which, lord willing and the creek don't rise, hopefully fits the bill. (Mass Gen is Harvard's hospital, that's always going to have funding, ri-ight? 8| )

I have a few things going on this weekend, so I'm going to use the weekend to wrap up this network post and the list-making thread, request the mission on Sunday, and put up the log when I get approval, probably Monday.

So, yeah, obviously my slowatus turned into a full hiatus there. I really need to learn to err on the side of having less focus than I think I will...

BUT as of...well probably tomorrow actually (work is still being annoying), I am getting Elliot here back in action! I might drop a few threads, but anything related to the events last month will definitely be continued.

I also haven't really been following things all that closely since I posted the slowatus. Is there anything pertaining to his interests that I should know about?

New arrival on the newbie train! My name's Hound, and I'm playing this loveable freak Tobias Beecher from one of HBO's first dramas, Oz. Beecher's a lawyer alcoholic turned inmate turned prison bitch turned prison crazy turned hard-case with a secret inner gooie-ness. It's my first time with this character, but I'm looking forward to throwing him at all of you. ♥

He's going to be putting on a bit of a tough-guy possibly-crazy act when he first arrives to give himself a bit of distance, but once my boy calms down and settles in, I'd love for him to get in with the more diplomacy-minded crowd. He's not much of a fighter (unless he has to be), but he can be one hell of a schemer.
