I hate to do this, guys, after only a short time here, especially with the warm welcome I received from all of you who replied to my initial post and the intro log.

I'm dropping Tommy Shepherd, or Speed, from the game. I fell off the reply-wagon for about a week, and I seem to have just lost myself with the game. It's a fast game, definitely, but that doesn't seem to work for me.

If anyone wants to reach me (since he was my only character in game), there's my Plurk ( akurou ) and my AIM ( heartstrider ). Or just PMing this journal, that works too. I'm usually up for memes and all that stuff.

My name is Groove and I am new to your lovely game even though I know a whole bunch of you guys from other games. :D I am bringing in one (1) tiny psychic boy with giant goggles by the name of Raz from the Most Excellent Game Psychonauts! He just got done saving his own world and he's super psyched (lol) about getting to save another one! He's got some ridiculous psychic powers that he will be more than happy to show off for you even if you don't ask. He'll be living in 1109 with Athrun and Holly!

Hey there! I'm PQ and I'll be playing Connor/Ratonhnhaké:ton (rah-doon-ha-gay-doon) here from Ubisoft's new petting and feeding animals simulator, Assassin's Creed 3. He's being pulled from the end of the first mission in Sequence 8.

- Permission post : I've got both basic permissions and Eagle Vision permission going.
- Opt-out post : For opting out of interacting with him. I know the game is pretty new and there are some folks still playing through it or maybe hoping to get it soon. I do intend to be careful with spoilers, cutting any that come up and marking them with warnings, but I'm cool with anyone just not wanting to get tags with him for a while. Or ever, if you're not comfortable with the character for any reason. No worries either way.

Other notes... He's bilingual. Any and all use of the Mohawk language will either have translations on mouseover or just be italicized English with a bracket note ahead of it. But that said, he pretty much only speaks his people's language when he's with his people, so I don't expect to be incorporating it more than once every great once in a while.

Hoping to get a thread started in the transport log later tomorrow, and should have a network post and an open log up shortly thereafter.

Gazebo here! Unfortunately, I've dropped Rickon Stark, as I've had difficulty sustaining his voice especially in a log format.

However, I do want to have a character who isn't obsessed with mages and cats. Therefore I bring you Dr. Laisa Toscane. Laisa is from Lois McMaster Bujold's Vorkosigan Saga, a genre-defying sort of a book series that roughly falls into the sci-fi category except when it forgets it's sci-fi and wants to be a whodunit, a comedy, or a Regency romance.

She's on the verge of thirty, her doctorate is in "business theory" (I'm just quoting, okay) and nothing to do with medicine, and she's just gotten herself established in a new job as representative for a Komarran trade delegation to Barrayar. Komarr is a planet. Barrayar is also a planet. Wormholes and shipping and tariffs are involved. This may bore you. I hope that Laisa won't.

She's not in the combat line at all, and she won't be fighting on missions; rather, her skillset lends itself to things like figuring out supply chain logistics. She's also an experienced public speaker. Not a rhetorician, however - her presentations are factual, and her approach is low-key and personable.

She is going to be so in over her head here. Bring on your dragons and your elves. I'm looking forward to challenging her horizons, and also to getting CR finally with people Anders wouldn't talk to!
