So, good news bad news.

Good News, I've FINALLY landed a full time job. It's temporary 'til February but you know? It's better than nothing.

Bad news, It's a full time job and OMG so need to figure out how to do everything now that I don't have the free time I once did.

So, I'm taking a weekish to figure out how to get everything done. I'll try and post and keep up with what I can but yeah. We'll see.

Sorry guys, I really should have posted this earlier. RL has been a big bitch to me lately and school has dragged me down, plus I'm starting to go out with friends to get family and stuff off my mind.

This is a hiatus until further notice until I can decide whether I can handle more than one game (I am currently in two) and/or when things get better.

Tails and Marisa have been and are on autopilot and their respective canonmates have jurisdiction over them until I return.

This is a heads up to let everyone know that I have added information into the THE INITIATIVE section of the World info! Here is what's been added, for those who don't want to have to hunt it down:

This post is also to serve as a reminder that everything that is in the World Information page is explained to your character by the Greeter when they arrive in Exsilium. [ Note: I hadn't realized when I first posted this that it basically sounds like I'm asking everyone to retcon their interactions in game and I apologize completely sincerely for that. We're going to try to get this information revealed in a different way, ICly, alongside another upcoming plot element, so please don't think that you have to have suddenly known this all along. Consider it something that will begin after the next application cycle (so all new Transports will be made aware of this information upon their arrival and it will roll from there)! ]

I don't think that had been very clear at first, and that is totally on me. A lot of this stuff that hadn't been clear is on me, so I'm trying to batch it all together and make everything concise and consistent. ( This also means that I will be updating the User Info blurbs to be much more descriptive, for those that care to know that! This is kind of a personal reminder note to myself too.. )

THANK YOU AGAIN EVERYONE FOR YOUR TIME AND ATTENTION! Questions and comments can, as always, be slapped here on this post for me and I will get back to you ASAP!

Edited to Add: Since the post in question/plot element had been revealed so long ago and before so many characters were in game, the Initiative will make another announcement to reveal/remind everyone ICly about this information so that your character may learn it in game! This time, the post will be more detailed and much more revealing than the first, in keeping with their need to share more information. I'll get this IC reveal up after the current plot event is concluded to give characters some breathing room!


Note from Brette: To accommodate that some players knew about this and some players did not, we're going to say that while the information had been available and had been spreading ICly between characters, and some characters were told upon their arrival, the Initiative greeter had not been consistent about telling every single new arrival. This way, no one is expected to retcon whether or not their characters were aware of this.

The Initiative itself will be unaware that the information had not spread to newer arrivals as they had anticipated, which will be their reason for making an NPC post to announce the information to everyone. This post will be taking place after this month's plot is wrapped up, as we don't want to overwhelm everyone with everything that's going on in-game, and the Initiative is ICly in no position to make this post until the plot is over.

This will be part of the Initiative's efforts to do some damage control regarding their reputation, since they realize that many characters are going to be mistrustful of them, and while they have good goals, they are unfortunately in a position where they can't make things better without some questionable methods along the way.

Agh, man. I thought I could get away with not doing this, but seeing as I am not getting any less busy, I have to call a hiatus for the next week, at least. Just started a new job and I have a lot of school stuff to do. Affects Fang (transgressed), Utena (revolutionized) and Kyouko (invocation).

I'll hopefully be back in time for the second half of the event, weh. If I'm needed at all, I can be PMed at my plurk.
