Hi everyone, Mad Mod player Jon here bringing another character into our little city of rebellion, this time a female character. She's very much fond of Elegant Gothic Lolita style clothing and has a Grim Reaper motif. Her name is  Margaret Moonlight and she's from No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle. Maggie her is quite fond of the arts (mostly gothic or classical, but she can surprise you) and wields two twin scythes that double as anti-tank rifles. I don't know how she uses them too, but who cares it's awesome.

ANYWAY, this is the first time I've played her in a game so be gentle I look forward to playing with you all, hope you'll have fun with her!

sup guys? i'm kat but actually since there's a bunch of players here with that name, i'm cool with being called kitty! for less confusion.

anyway, i'm bringing in Nico di Angelo to join The Heroes of Olympus cast because it's huge and shiny and i needed it. also? the premise of this game is badass. but i digress. Nico is pretty much a little creep who hangs out in the Underworld or in graveyards because he doesn't quite feel he belongs with "normal" demigods. despite that, he's somewhat friendly and helpful, without ever giving too much of his own agenda away. and he has some massive death powers going on. it's a package deal, being a son of Hades and all that.

at some point, i'll get a permissions post up. but if you're character has died in canon, it's likely he might be able to tell - only if that's a thing that's mutually wanted.

I've got a pretty insane schedule coming up in which I have to prep for a con as a head of cosplay, run said department on site, come home and pack to move, go to another con for promotions and then move.

Hey Guys! I'm Ken.

I am really happy to announce that I will be bring in Luke Castellan from the Percy Jackson and The Olympians series also known as The Heroes of Olympus series. This guy here, let me tell you. He almost brought down Olympus but in true hero fashion he came to his senses and sacrificed himself. Please forgive him if he comes off as a little moody. This isn't what he had in mind when he said he would try for a second life.

As a son of Hermes, Luke is a great thief. So I might put a permissions post somewhere so people can agree to be pick-pocketed and so on.

Hey all this was really hard for me to do but I'm going to have to go ahead and drop Feferi, and thus drop out of the game. :( I'm sorry to everyone I'm leaving mid-thread, I really hate to do that to anyone, but the drive just isn't there right now. I might reapp at a later date, either with Feferi again or another character.

MINI-PLOT: there's something in the water

Hello everyone! I'm bringing to you our non-mission but important-to-central-development-mini-plot! This plot will be taking place from Thursday, May 10th until Thursday, May 24th!

As you'll have seen by Anora's IC announcement here and OOC post here, it's becoming more and more clear that the Initiative is… well, not as organized, up front, and thoughtful of their transports as they should be.

This is totally okay for your characters to pick up on! In fact, it's encouraged! In the future, we've got some big plans -- and part of those plans will need characters to pick up on the shadyness and ineffectual direction of the Initiative organization! Anora's actions, as it were, are incredibly helpful for kickstarting this. Which brings me to the main point of this post… our mini-plot!

There is going to be something in the water and the food. The water in the Housing apartments, and the food supplied by and sold in the Initiative Hold, is going to be tainted with a hallucinatory substance that will cause your characters to have very vivid, anti-United Earth and pro-Initiative dreams! These hallucinations will affect your characters only in their dreams -- UNLESS -- your character is chipped.

THAT'S RIGHT, THOSE CHIPS. If your character is chipped, this substance is going to be much stronger on them. They may even see hallucinations during the day, when they're not asleep. The hallucinations and the intense subjects of the dream will be embellished upon by your character's mind. The general message will be the same for everyone affected: UNITED EARTH = BAD, INITIATIVE = GOOD, but the nature of the dreams (what exactly they see, what exactly they hear) will be tailored specifically for their own minds.

It's perfectly alright for your characters to pick up on this! It's expected. It's going to be a subliminal messaging job, but it's not going to be the best of the best. Your characters will be able to notice that something weird is up -- and that they're not the only ones with this happening to them.

If you don't wish for your character to be affected, that is perfectly fine too! They don't have to have had the food from the Hold, or they don't have to have drank the water and they won't feel the effects of the substance.

Hey, guys! Lexi (player of Terra/erodedbutterfly) here with my second character!

This is Tori, an OC of mine. She's a fun-loving social butterfly who has an interest in fashion and weaponry. She also has over 9000 daddy issues and might be just a little too overprotective of people she cares about because she's afraid of losing them. But she's a good kid and means well, honest! While she does have a slight tendency to troll, I doubt that will be a problem for her new roommates considering who they are. :D
