all of this is alien. it's very weird. But no, it's not a dealbreaker! Mostly it's up to you, because the alien thing will probably result in staring and rude questions for a while and Feferi may or may not be sick of that, I'm sure.

abnormal probably works better anyway! I actually how no idea what I'm fishing for here, he's terrible at caring about much of anything that doesn't directly contribute to getting stronger and killing titans and shit but dammit Eren you are fifteen try to make some more friends

That might not actually work against him though. She'll just try to get him to do all sorts of fun stuff if he has nothing better to be doing.
