Character: Allen Walker ★ D.Gray-man ★ debtor

Character Info: Victorian shounen loser. He's an irascible orphan turned clown turned cheerful wannabe gentleman turned cardshark turned Exorcist turned savior of souls turned hobo fugitive. He now has a ponytail.

Allen has been here for over a year now! He was also canon-bumped to current canon a month ago (which was itself a year-long update), and that's just been. oodles of fun for him.

Upcoming Plans: Allen was hardly around in December, partly because he's not feeling so sociable after his update, and partly because the latter half of December completely ate me kind of unexpectedly and I haven't had much time for RP. I'll have more free time soon, though, so I'll be trying to get him back out there and involved. He'll be seeking more information about this new Exsilium and what's become of the UE. He'll also be looking for work, probably something involving physical labor, and if any characters out there happen to be hiring for anything...

I addressed this briefly in his OOC update post, but he'll also need help with his, uh, headmonster problem (Allen's got a second consciousness in his head trying to erase him and take over his body, you know how it goes.) There may be a network post about that soon, and he'll want to speak with anyone who knows shit about dark and mysterious demonic-ish entities. He needs his contained before it eats him.

CR/Plotting Desired: ANYONE. PEOPLE WHO KNOW shit about demon-y things, as mentioned. And friends, rivals, teenagers he can be a fail teenager with, mature adults he can actually look up to, jerks he can get into petty fights with. All are welcome.

I'd say Allen'd be just about the LAST person to accept any sort of help or advice from the devil, but he also would have a very difficult time believing the Actual Devil is hanging out in Exsilium. There is hilarious potential here.

They probably don't even need to talk about the interrogation unless it comes up, but yes good definitely get in touch with him. He's been wondering whatever happened to Lenalee's weird boyfriend.

Allen we really need to talk about your headmonster. We can even start a club. The headmonster holders anonymous club and talk about what total jerks they can be.

(I don't know that Asbel will be of much help in this situation, though.)

Unfortunately, Allen's gonna be super tight-lipped about his (he'll post anon on the network) and won't bring it up unless Asbel mentions it, because his is kind of a sociopath and also killing him and that's just awkward to bring up in conversation. But if Asbel does, then they can bond over having weird shit in their heads! What an excellent club.

Well...I could see Asbel trying to help an anon out, depending on how it's worded.

And if(?) he learns Allen is around and being all weird to Sophie and Kaneis (I was reading some of your older threads with roomies, but I'm not sure exactly what went down there - is he staying with them again or still being a hobo?), he would try to find and talk to him. And if he knew that Allen was having issues right now, he's the type who would try to reach out to him. Also his best friend kind of went crazy on everyone once because of a headmonster and he wouldn't want that to happen with anyone else so. It's possible! (I think.)

not that he's really going to be around much for fish candies. fail teenage friends are always welcome, regardless!!

you know, even after all this time, i don't think allen's made friends with or really interacted extensively with anyone who's obviously Not Human. somehow. he needs to. it'd be good for him, he needs to broaden his species horizons.

They could run into each other over the network, or in-person... What's Karkat up to these days?

generally he just mopes around being the fun police lately, he's very upset with the initiative and time travel and interdimensional kidnapping and all of that (due to the way time works in his canon he thinks they have basically sentenced every single transport to certain death).

allen could catch him wandering around in the snow or be the latest person unfortunate enough to become a target for karkat venting his spleen! whichever would be preferable to you.

Dealing with dark and mysterious demonic-ish entitites, you say?

Maybe a demon hunter can help!

IT'S QUITE POSSIBLE!

He'd be interested to know anything about demons from other worlds, certainly from a fellow who also deals with them.

The specific help he needs is sealing/containing his headmonster, which may not be technically demonic but close enough to count in panfandom - if that's the sort of thing Dante could help with, all the better.

Dante can exorcise people but he's not a priest so he does it Hunter-Style, basically using his ....blahblahDMCBSblah... spectral energy or something to forcibly separate the creature from the person its possessing.

IT TENDS TO BE A VIOLENT AND UNPLEASANT THING TO GO THROUGH but if Allen can't find help elsewhere, Dante will lend a hand.

Dante doesn't like to go public with the information that he's a hunter but he follows the scent of monsters like a bloodhound. Basically, if Allen asked people in general Dante the Lazy would suddenly be curious and hanging on his every word.

I'D SAY MAYBE but unfortunately violent exorcism hasn't worked on this particular problem. It seems to make everything worse, so until canon shows something that will work, I'm just going to say it can't actually be removed. Just... sealed away, or something, until further notice.

But he'd of course still like to hear from a hunter! And maybe down the road, something could be arranged. . .

Dante would be willing to try and seal it! TRY. Or at least look into the problem if his version of exorcism doesn't work.

The upside is if he learns about this problem he might become fascinated by it and genuinely interested in helping. Demons/creatures of that ilk are pretty much guaranteed to perk the guy up.

EITHER WAY some CR potential there!
