Welcome to Exsilium's Monthly CR Meme! This will be for the month of November, and participation is completely optional. Leave a comment below with the following format and you can get in touch with other players for all sorts of plans for the future, for CR and plots for your characters.

omg i didn't know we had a Kaede i just go back after being gone for two months hi i'm Kari and i play Lea from Kingdom Hearts who totally spends most of his time hanging out with kids who can kick his ass Kaede should join the ranks okok

I failed horribly getting her out there last month, but I'm trying to remedy that this month! And Kaede would so not kick his ass.

dude how are you handling her power here? can she just copy anybody, or only folks from home? cuz Lea's a fire manipulator like Nathan. only, you know, a little less flamboyant. could be fun~

Unless it's straight up magic a la, like, Cardcaptor Sakura, or something a la D.Gray-man, she's copying it, especially if it's unknown-mutated-gene-related since that's what NEXT powers are based off of. It still has the one-power-at-a-time effect, plus it going haywire when she doesn't keep her emotions in check. Soooo I guess she'll be copying Lea's power huehue.

hahah, awesome, this sounds like it could be a good time. it's never really explained how the Nobodies got their elemental powers, but it's definitely more like just an ability than the use of magic. man that really could be fun tho; he's never really gotten to work with another firebug. plus he really likes kids, he likes playing mentor and stuff. we should totally do this!

I actually just closed the KH wikia because it's been so long since I've dropped KH and I didn't remember if Nobodies with elemental abilities were scientifically given or not. Sigh, thanks for added mystery, Nomura & Co.

mm, yeah it's not real clear. Lea doesn't show any fire ability as a kid, but Axel can wield fire like a champ, and in a completely different way than any fire spell any playable characters can use. the Organization was founded by a bunch of science geeks, but if anything i usually err on the side of the Darkness somehow unlocking an ability within them, rather than it being anything they were deliberately given, especially since Lea still seems to have all his powers after dying (i.e. his body disappeared) and regaining his heart. so it doesn't seem to be something that is tied to a physical body, more something that is just inherent to his heart/soul/whatever???
