Welcome to Exsilium's Monthly CR Meme! This will be for the month of March, and participation is completely optional. Leave a comment below with the following format and you can get in touch with other players for all sorts of plans for the future, for CR and plots for your characters.

Character: Samus Aran ★ Metroid ★ raisedbybirds

Character Info: Broody, dry, serious, no-fun-allowed, tech savvy, slightly pop culture retarded, kind-of-grumpy bounty hunter space lady sometimes mistaken for a dude, but will warm up to the right people. Samus works at the police, and frequently patrols around in a suit of bright orange space armor. She's a little hard to miss. More details here.
Upcoming Plans: Nothing concrete! Adam's birthday is sometime in March but that's all she knows. She's going to dig for it.
CR/Plotting Desired: Heavily debating throwing up some kind of open log sometime in March just to get some fresh CR. Maybe something like Samus sitting out in the open tinkering on her big suit of armor, or tried-but-true open training log/policey patrolling around. That will probably be the extent of my focus as I will be taking an important career-related certification exam mid-March. AAAaaaaaaaIamsonotready. Sometime in April I think I will be very interested in getting her some more antagonistic CR/negative CR/getting her into shenanigans of that ilk to spice things up!

Character: Nanami Kiryuu ★ Revolutionary Girl Utena ★ tragicomedienne

Character Info: Messed up technicolor duel kid. Nanami is an abrasive, spoiled middle school queen bee with self-esteem and attachment issues and severe moodiness (she's such an anime character I'm so sorry). She's at the cusp of her final character development in her current canon point, coming out of a really deep and manipulative psychological game, and slowly becoming much more susceptible to developing compassion for others. Stubborn, ~~classic type B personality~~.
Upcoming Plans: Probably more dealing with broken Ohtori kids. Ruining Utena's life one log comment at a time. Just adapting more and getting settled in, whether she likes it or not. Hopefully coming up a bit from her moping and melancholia!
CR/Plotting Desired: She is still very new and just occasionally getting out of the house, so I'm ready for anything! Enemies, friends (haha), people who just meet her in passing during training...

I think some grown-up CR with elders who aren't trying to use her for anything would be really good for her; if she can somehow manage to fall under the wing of an adult who can tolerate her that would be interesting to play out. She's good at being snide and agitated and overreacting so she is, like, custom-built for negative CR.
Additional Notes: If you are an animal character it is very possible that she'll leave a bad impression on you!

Character: Frodo Baggins ★ Lord of the Rings ★ iorhael

Character Info: Frodo's a little guy who gets saddled with an evil Ring who he later volunteers to dump into a giant volcano. Because Men, elves and dwarves really prefer arguing with each other than walking to Mordor. Frodo is intelligent, compassionate, with a sense of humor, curious and a little naive in some ways.

Upcoming Plans: I don't have any set plans this month, so I'm open! He'll be pretty conflicted about finding out Sam and Aragorn had gone though.

CR/Plotting Desired: Looking to thread with old and new CR! I'd love to get the One Ring involved some how, like influencing others around him or what not. Also maybe going on a small mission or learning more about sword fighting so he can use Sting better.

Negative CR would be interesting too: more people who annoy him etc would be fantastic.

Character: Saori Nakagawa ★ original ★ needsteaplz

Character Info: She's the tea-addicted and motherly folklore-buff turned into Inari, Shinto god of rice, agriculture, physical wealth and everything but the kitchen sink. Also she has memories of her time in tvk so she knows about Personas and the Dark Hour. She's thinking about opening a tea house here.
Upcoming Plans: Saori is hoping to get a tea house started in her latest post. She's going to need help running it both manpower and financially.
CR/Plotting Desired: ALL CR. Saori is also Inari, the Shinto god, so she might snoop around to see what other gods are around. Expect a lot of mothering moments from her which also means FREE FOOD. Also even though she's married, she and Tenjou agreed to an open marriage. Just don't expect it to just happen since Saori's very selective about that.

Ellie Linton/tiny furious Australian

Character: Ellie Linton ★ Tomorrow series ★ reconnaissance

Character Info: Ellie has been a guerrilla fighter for the past twelve months or so, and has some pretty severe PTSD. It can make for potentially interesting negative and positive cr, I think! She needs people and hates people and feels lost without her team, but also has an obscene amount of pride. Her heart is in the right place but she has lost a lot and is kind of a mess and pretty unstable despite being about to have some banter from time to time. She has major issues with being underestimated and treated like a child, which sometimes does not help encourage people to treat her like an adult. She comes from a canon where all adults are useless really so... Yes.
Upcoming Plans: Right now she has kind of latched onto Steph, but I'd love to expand her cr.

Since she is the narrator in her canon and the official record keeper, I thought it'd make sense for her to try and grab onto some stability by doing the same in Exsilly.
Eventually I think she might try to bail out of Initiative housing because she thinks it is shady so that could be awesome, but I might just play that by ear a bit.

Basically the plan is somewhere between playing with her explosive temper and trying to get her a solid network of people she can start relying on, I guess!


CR/Plotting Desired: Anyone who would be interested in her little record keeping adventure!
Exploring, hunting, getting into fights, SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY, maybe trying to expand her knowledge of explosives. Generally self destructive things, sadly. Trying to take out Rita I mean nothing. Training would be awesome, and maybe becoming a bit less completely suspicious of people who aren't human.

Character: Adam Jensen ★ Deus Ex ★ neveraskedforthis

Character Info: Adam's an asshole cyborg from the not so distant ~future~ which is pretty yellow and cyberpunky. He's a former cop turned security specialist turned cyberpunk Batman and he DOES WHAT HE WANTS. Mostly punch people in the face for being dickbags. For being a former cop (and he DOES have a strong sense of justice), Adam's methods are ridiculously unlawful. He's also a bit of a kleptomaniac. Currently he's the security guy for the transport police. Did I manage he's building a cleaner bot to keep the airvents clean? Yeah...
Upcoming Plans: Nooothing specific, but it is Adam's birthday next month! (on the 9th) ... I don't think he'd tell anybody and it's canon that he mopes at home being unhappy on his birthday, but I'd love if we could do anything for it anyway and drag him out of his hole. SAMUS FIND HIS CORPORATE ID PLEASE? Other than that, I'm open for everything. I still want to do this shit where someone takes advantage of his cyborg parts. :(
CR/Plotting Desired: See above! New CR and old CR it's all good. If you have any ideas, bounce them off me, I'm happy to provide and not afraid of negative CR. Given how he is, it's just to be expected that people will dislike him, though Adam is your typical Jerk with a heart of gold.

Character Info: Technically 14-year-old clone. Made solely to pilot a giant humanoid mech and reunite her creator with his dead wife. Unconsciously houses the soul of the eldritch abomination who birthed humanity. Socially isolated to a massive degree. No self-preservation. Identity issues. What are my feelings? What is my purpose? RINSE, REPEAT.
Upcoming Plans: Not a great deal, besides quietly coming to terms with her role here and... her own continued existence. She's been attempting to see that Shinji is well in her own way, tolerating Asuka, mulling over her introduction to Kaworu and what his strange words may mean, that sort of thing. Apart from training, she's essentially a recluse who currently sees no reason to do otherwise. No concrete plans for how her development's going to roll yet.
CR/Plotting Desired: ANY, honestly. She can be exceedingly difficult to get to know and doesn't tend to put forth much effort with people, though. Determined and more outgoing characters who are drawn to those like her for whatever reason would be great! She won't initially know what to do with them, but hey. Other awkward not-quite-humans are always good, too. Even potentially negative CR with anyone who might openly see her as a thing or puppet, which at this stage really would cause some distaste in her. tl;dr, let's do this.

That aside Utena does fit the "determined and outgoing" criteria and she'd be curious about Rei because her bff is Anthy and from what I have heard, Rei and Anthy have some similarities happening.

The Disciple | Homestuck

Character Info: A troll unlike most others, in that she believes in peace and wishes for equality throughout the hemospectrum, Disciple is an avid follower of the Signless - which is where her title of 'the Disciple' comes from - and doesn't really want much more than to get along with people and help out.
Upcoming Plans: Nothing planned as of yet!
CR/Plotting Desired: I'd love to get her out and about and meeting more people. She's rather severely unhappy at the moment due to clashes with some other trolls, and not making much headway in helping her best friend who's been turned into a battery/computer. She needs something to get her mind off of things and give her more of a sense of purpose in Exsil.

Character: Ico ★ ICO: That book from that game ★ hornedomen

Character Info: Ico has horns, which makes him a Sacrifice. Meaning he and those before him are sent to the castle and put into stone coffins until they die. His entire life was spent preparing for this role. He may be scared, sad, and angry, but he's determined to do what is right.
Upcoming Plans: He is going to the Civic Gardens more often to water the plants. He still has nightmares that are keeping him up so he may wander there at night.
CR/Plotting Desired: All of it.
Additional Notes: Did you know? Some animals with horns use them for cooling.

Character: Rue ★ The Hunger Games ★ treehopping

Character Info: Rue is a twelve year-old girl (almost thirteen!) from a dystopian future society called Panem, ruled by an elite ruling class (The Capitol) while the rest of the population slaves away to keep them in comfort, living in twelve districts that each have a speciality in the work they do.

Once every year in punishment for a failed rebellion, a girl and a boy from each district between the ages of 12-18 are chosen by lottery from each District to participate in a televised battle to the death, called The Hunger Games, for the Capitol's amusement. Rue was one of the children chosen.

Upcoming Plans: Actually my plans are very fluid right now! I have nothing concrete, except she'll be helping Jesse Pinkman with cookie distribution to new arrivals on the 1st so I'm really looking to get Rue more settled into the game.

Character Info: cranky sorceress of legend, pretty much hates everyone, currently hanging out with a broken child and her giant wolf, wants the initiative to burn, has a very low opinion of 99% of the island, loves magic and dragons, misses her bb dragon. i don't even know what else to say right now
Upcoming Plans: oh god, i haven't got any specific plans. other than playing fake mom to arya, she's trying to set her feelings back in the right place. GOTTA HATE HER BRO AND HIS LITTLE GIRLFRIEND!! it's hard
CR/Plotting Desired: EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING PLZ AND THANK YOU. she is not the most social of creatures these days, but still please cr i want it. she is less likely to brush off people if they prove interesting, so yeah that is a thing. idek.

Character Info: sunshine! nicer blonde with a knack for guns, punching douche bags in the jaw, climbing buildings like a regular circus monkey, loves adventure, treasure for the history factor, ancient cities and the like. is a reporter!! and also the only real adult of her group, regardless of her habit of making bad life choices. elena tends to find trouble, often.

CR/Plotting Desired: stuff and things, again i am really bad at plans and haven't much on the mind. but please still bring me things!

Character: Gwendolyn ★ Odin Sphere ★ sleepingvalkyrie

Character Info: Gwendolyn is a Valkyrie, and youngest princess from the kingdom of Ragnanival. She's from a storybook world Erion (literally - hers is the first of 6 stories) that can be described as a cross between Shakespeare and classic fairy tales, spliced into Wagner's Ring Cycle, and mixed up with Norse Mythology. Has massive daddy issues, self esteem issues, and is better at fighting than social interaction much of the time. She's also somewhat skilled in alchemy, and can grow plants that sprout sheep. So there's that.
Upcoming Plans: Gwendolyn is finally settling into life here! She also returned from the last major mission with two Baromett sheep in tow, which won't be long for this world. Presently training a lot, getting to grips with technology, and wishes to learn more about this war they've been signed up for.
CR/Plotting Desired: I'm open to both positive and negative CR. Some technology still baffles her, and she'll likely gravitate towards those who lean towards less modern combat weapons and skills, as well as magic. Training buddies ftw! Also, fellow fliers!

CR/Plotting Desired: She's willing to talk to just about anybody right now, I think. She's getting a feel for her new "home" and learning what she can. So other adventerous/studious/investigative types are welcome

Character Info: The Italian Eagle Scout, who also happens to have a lot of badass powers he rarely uses
Upcoming Plans: His powers are starting to reach the next stage of development, so he'll probably be testing his limits fairly soon
CR/Plotting Desired: Any fellow empaths would be awesome, just to see the reaction of similar powers. Hangs out at the clinic and is a nurse, so that kind of CR would be great too

Character Info: A perky and cheerful teenage Champion from Unova, and saved her region from Ghetsis, the old former leader of Team Plasma who planned to freeze the region solid and rule over it. She's used to traveling, and sorta being on her own, but she loves company and making friends. She's also a bit of a girly girl, liking cute things (hey, she's 15) and new clothes, and was formerly an actress back home.
Upcoming Plans: Oh gosh, I don't really have anything planned. I think it would be nice to get her on a mission though, but it doesn't have to be next month. I also think she wouldn't mind exploring the areas outside the city either.
CR/Plotting Desired: AN-NI-THING. I really dropped the ball on tags over the past month and I'll get back to them for sure, but honestly, I'll accept all kinds of CR. Negative CR, cute best girlfriends, and maybe some older mentor types, especially since she's looking at training harder herself.

Oh! And if anyone would like her to babble about Pokemon at them, I'm good for that too. She has her Serperior here (basically, a big long grass-looking snake) and has her out of her Pokeball on occasion.

I want her to do more weapon training, I also want to find more friends since her companions from home are Arthur but also Morgana, whose rejection really struck deep.
CR/Plotting Desired: Friends! hanging out, someone Gwen can mother and care for but also someone she can talk to, especially about magic since it's a touchy subject for those of Camelot.

Character Info: An ex-knight who looks tough as nails but is actually a super softie and bleeding heart. His hobbies include teaching, hating tomatoes and not discriminating against anyone. Also has a son here from 4000 years in the future.
Upcoming Plans: Failed attempt at cooking healthy food for a teenage boy and probably an open training log.
CR/Plotting Desired: Any and all! He loves interacting with kids, whether they be good or the kinds who are all RAWR ADULTS. He also needs more bros and general 20 year olds to associate with. Sparring buddies are ALWAYS LOVED. Anyone wanting to troll him or just rub him completely the wrong way would be great. Also, I wouldn't mind getting him into a sexual relationship or just having him screw around at some point.

Character: Lacie Baskerville ★ Pandora Hearts ★ onlyasong
Character Info: A happy little lady... who got cast into some place worse than hell to be completely destroyed there, body and soul, all by her brother because he had to since she had red eyes and was a Child of Misfortune.
Upcoming Plans: She will be making a post asking for emoticons. Flora got her hooked.
CR/Plotting Desired: ANY AND ALL. No really. Throw everything you have at her. Some antisocials would be great. Quirky and weird people for her to associate with would be fun. Anyone who needs some fun and silliness in their lives. Oh and anyone looking for some sexy times in bed since she's game for that too. Like I said, pretty much everything with her, minus romance.

Additional Notes: So I have been UNBELIEVABLY slow this past month and I apologize. Thing after thing keeps on hitting me but I should be better this next month.

CR/Plotting Desired: I'm up for anything honestly! Feb's been a complete write-off for me when it comes to plotting and CR because I was travelling so much, but I'd love to make up for it come March!

Character Info: He's a kirin (Chinese/Japanese unicorn). There isn't much that he cares to take seriously. He absolutely adores being amused, and will often use others to seek such amusement. Oh! And he's a vegetarian.
Upcoming Plans: Sohki doesn't have any plans his plans usually involve trolling others whenever something takes his interest OTL. He'll probably be teaching Cedric how to fight without a wand, but I've got nothing planned beyond that!
CR/Plotting Desired: Like Elza, I am up for pretty much anything! So give me all your CR o3o

Character Info: An adventurer who, though really just wants to explore the world somehow keeps getting roped into saving it. This doesn't mean she really likes the people inhabiting it, though. She's incredibly distrustful of everyone until they somehow prove themselves loyal and trustworthy. Otherwise she tends to shoot the shit out of things if they attack/annoy her.

Character Info: In a sentence - Sam is a dorky hunter of the supernatural who absolutely hates his job and needs anger management classes. He's a nice guy who's had a really crappy life and is driven by revenge. Oh yeah, and he's got some supernatural powers himself that enable him to foresee the future sometimes and move stuff - more info on that can be found in his journal.
Upcoming Plans: I have no concrete plans at the moment except hoping my internet won't crap out on me and I'll be able to get some more cr rolling!
CR/Plotting Desired: Anything at all! Sam needs friends - he's a people person! And...humane monsters too. He also needs to get in trouble, he's got a knack for that. He's very early in canon so his hunting abilities are kinda pathetic if you're looking for an ass to kick.
