Welcome to Exsilium's forth game-wide HMD! These will be occurring once every three months as has been voted upon here.

How It Works:

The gamewide HMD is an opportunity for players to come together and bring each other feedback about one another's playing. Constructive criticism is encouraged, however what that means is that it must be constructive. If you are going to offer up criticism, we encourage that you provide suggestions to the player within your critique. We are here to improve! It is also acceptable to let someone know if you enjoy their playing, but note that unhelpful or empty responses ("Oh, I love you so much!!", "Your playing is bad and you should feel bad.") without any real substance are discouraged.

If you like what a player is doing, tell them exactly what it is and why! If you have questions about their playing, this is what this forum is for as well.
It is not mandatory, and you have no obligation to respond if you don't wish to.

Anonymous commenting is enabled for the sake of anonymous crit, and IP logging is on for the sake of continued accountability. Only moderators will see IP addresses and they will only be checked if things get out of hand. Please remember to be thoughtful and respectful in your crit-giving. Full Disclosure: The moderator team may still be given anonymous, non-IP logged criticism here at the suggestions page or their personal HMD posts.

I don't actually have CR and I am canon blind to Adam but I enjoy stalking him. I really like how his CR is all over the place and with different sort of characters. Each of his interactions tend to be unique that way and really fun to read.

Additional Comments: Vanadi is SAD because he was a dickbag to everyone while he was younger, and Khisanth just got a canon update to be more snide and less dumb, but other than that no one's had any life-altering changes...
My playing has definitely taken a dip into the low-activity end of the spectrum since wresting control of Exsilium from Ophelia stepping up and rearranging things as a mod, but I'm hoping to get back into it properly soon!!

considering you're playing a character that's basically an anime staple i have to say i am like suuuper impressed with how well you understand shinji! i really admire how you write out his thought processes, they feel just like they would if it were shinji in his canon. i know we haven't interacted so this might sound a wee bit stalkerish but me and amanda are tomodachis so i've gotten a ton of secondhand exposure haha

Just thought I'd pop in here and mention how brave I think you are for picking up and sticking to a character who requires so much headcanon. And I'm still sad Arwen ended up not clicking here, because doing so in a canon like Tolkien and into such a screwed up tightly knit family can't have been easy.

Well, Koltira has definitely been through the wringer during his time here (which has been since July, yowzah), but it's mostly just made him even more of a gloomy sack of angst, so.

Adra's just been his usual grumpy self. I realize he's highly abrasive most of the time, so please do let me know if you're not interested in dealing with that <3

I'll be honest. And this is just my own stupid thoughts probably making a big deal out of nothing because I'm paranoid like that, but sometimes I fear I don't really keep your interest. Then again, it's probably just the fact that I'm thoroughly convinced that I'm as dull as dry toast and that people would rather watch paint dry than RP with me.
