Ishmael, strange little helper mod, stopping by to say that as of today the AI brought back by the Transports into Exsilium is now completely running live, and is a fully contactable NPC. How helpful it is, or how generous its temperament, the AI will be restoring the virtual reality machines to a properly functional capacity (and has made an IC announcement on network) while maintaining and improving the firewall and other usually unseen defenses of Exsilium against the United Earth.

AI will be available to offer Transport network communications encryptions (for those who are unable to do so for themselves), for brave souls to attempt to plug for information, and for customizing immersive VR experiences as practice rounds and anything else that the Transports request.

In other news, as February 14th rolls around, Exsilium itself is gearing up for a three day festival from the 12th to the 14th, celebrating the officially recognized date of Separation from the United Earth! What does this mean for the Transports?

Really, more readily available foods, bigger fairs of people selling all sorts of wares in the streets, and for anyone appearing to be a teenager and younger, random gifts of candies and treats (and for the young child-appearing, toys) from strangers. Why? Because here on the island, celebrating and treating the next generation of people born and raised in total separation from the United Earth well is a big deal!

There will be much merry-making, a parade, and fireworks on the evening of the 14th. They've got no idea what Valentine's Day is, but ask any native, and they'll be happy to indoctrinate you in the long standing tradition of talking smack on the UE, celebrating their relative freedom and days since being detoxed or brainwashed into complacency, and also looking toward a bright future of maintaining that freedom against the odds.

Oh hey. Saori is actually Elza's new roommate so she'd be happy to let her know what Valentine's Day is and what not.

Oooh! Yes I would definitely love to do something! I usually figure that Elza spends most of her time sleeping elsewhere (one of the abandoned structures), but she totally uses her room to gather information xD

Aww but Elza, Saori's an excellent cook and she wants to mother you. /;o;/

Haha! Elza's used to hunting, killing, and preparing her own meals, so she's never had anything modern before 8D She's friendly enough (or as friendly as an assassin can get <.< ) though, even if she rarely makes emotional connections with others.

I'm fine with either. Saori can be found either in the training area or the apartment so chances are they probably would meet before the event.

Hmm we can definitely have them meeting up before the event, although I'm off on a vacation Saturday (tomorrow) and away for a week, so I won't be able to RP anything until after that's done.
