Epidemic Exsilium: Stage Three

The mission into the immediate past begins tonight, marking the end of Stage Two and the beginning of Stage Three.
The hospitals have hit critical capacity. Natives have been dying faster than they can be safely addressed. Panic has set in. Information gathered from the sleeper agents in Stage Two has been used to set up the transport pads to take Transports back to the time and place where the virus was created in order to alter results and change the disease from a viral infection to a bacterial infection.
One problem: each Transport has to complete this mission, if they choose to go on it, while wearing a hazmat suit. They can't risk infecting past populations with this highly communicable disease.
Likewise, people staying in Exsilium or not dealing directly with this mission have the option of:
1.) Helping generate the antibiotic cocktail that will save lives;
2.) Administering these antibiotics to the sick population
3.) Taking on one of countless small 1-3 person missions to go to the past and steal/barter/buy the supplies necessary in order to treat the ill and manufacture enough of the antibiotics.
(They may also remain ill. Because really.)
Title your threads with where your character is at! In the past, or in the present. Remember, the mission lats 6 hours; finding and distributing the cure lasts two days, and then longer. This log encompasses June 14th-June 16th!
Mission: Bad Science Saves the Day
For those who signed up here on the original post, now is your time to shine. The reports pulled in off the Sleeper Agents tracked down by Transports leads to three possible laboratories all within the same facility on the former North American continent. All volunteering participants who participate in the mission are given three things: a USB thumb drive containing a computer virus specifically designed by the Initiative AI to infiltrate enemy systems and change results to indicate greater chances of success and control with a bacterial version of the infection over a viral form; a hazmat suit; and an ID badge.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to get in, get connected to as many network ports as you can, or otherwise contaminate and destroy as much research on the virus as possible. The United Earth is not yet aware of the Initiative pulling any extensive time-hopping shenanigans at this point. They're not expecting this infiltration at any of the laboratories: they're all unfeasibly far away from Exsilium.
Transports, you're heading to Anchorage, Alaska. Now called Andersfeld, you will be arriving during the largest snowstorm of 3310.
Stay warm, stay inside, and move fast. You have six hours to complete mission objective and alter the course of immediate history, or you have tens of thousands of lives you helped allow to end due to inaction.
We're counting on you.
Questions:
Can I still sign up?
Yes! No need to comment anywhere other than the log set up for the purpose of this mission. The Mission Log is up here!
Does my character have to stay in the hazmat suit?
Yes. If they get out of it in any location with a temperature that is recorded at being greater than 0°C, they will find themselves ported back into present-day Exsilium, and cursed at by some very tetchy scientists.
I want my character to science!
We want them to science, too! Once the mission to the past is in effect, those back in Exsilium will notice shifts in the sick populations, and that samples of the infection are now responding to antibiotics. Be involved with the testing! Make a better antibiotic! Find out the healing magic that finally works!
I want my character to help, but not on mission!
Are they well enough to help administer the antibiotics? Deliver shipments to the hospitals? Help the nurses, medics, and healers with anything they want? Get them in there and working on it!
My character is sick right now. Would they be well enough after this mission to go on the small missions to gather supplies?
Yes, it is feasible they are well enough to hop into the past to steal/barter/buy supplies to help ensure a many people are treated with antibiotics as possible!
I have another question!
Please ask in the Questions comment thread below!
