ACTIVITY CHECK | Month of June

Welcome to Exsilium's Activity Check! This check covers the month of June, from June 1st until July 1st and will count for the entire month. In this Activity Check, players will be providing their own proof of activity using the form below. You are welcome to provide activity check links for yourself as well as other players.


First thing's first, a quick run-down of the Activity Requirements here at Exsilium:
TWO of these FOUR requirements must be met within the span of ONE MONTH.

A. One post in the main community.
B. One comment thread a minimum of 7 comments long, where those seven comments are comments left by your character.
C. One post in the logs community.
D. One reply to a log thread by your character at minimum.

You can combine these four options at your leisure. Activity will be met with a combination of two of them out of the four, but they may not be duplicated. Any comments left during the month will count for activity even if they are backtags for a thread that began in a different month, as long as there are enough of them dated for this activity month.

Characters accepted any time after June 15th or who were on a FULL HIATUS for 7 days or longer are exempt from this activity check but must still comment to let us know. We will, of course, check the hiatus page for exemptions still before compiling our final list!

CR/Plotting Desired:* Oh gosh, anything. I have a post planned for Kyouko this month and plan on throwing her around to talk to more people, because I really need to force her out more -- the lack of CR is totally my fault 8(

ARE THERE ANY VIDEOGAMES/ANYONE WHO KNOWS HOW TO MAKE A VIDEOGAME MACHINE? Because she would definitely hassle anyone with some technology know-how about things like that.

I also want her to interact with more kids/teenagers, being a punkass kid herself.
Additional Notes:* Naw -- kind of dropped the ball activity-wise for her this month but I plan to pick up my pace. She's just difficult to throw around on account of her lack of interest in things/general unpleasantness.

Upcoming Plans:* RECONNAISSANCE. She'll be asking a lot of questions. Seriously, she has NO idea what's going on and is going to be fairly paranoid about that for a little while. Expect bewilderment over all forms of technology (what is this weird journeybook that doesn't need blood?) and suspicion of just about everyone.

Once she gets some answers, she'll calm down a little and be less frosty. Oh, and she's really good with kids.
CR/Plotting Desired:* I plan on throwing her into the normal rioters thread (later today), so if anyone wants to see her use her Confession or help her fight off people, or have her ask a bunch of questions angrily while holding a dagger to their throat...yeah. She's your girl for that!

Upcoming Plans:* Mostly sticking close to Vanille and Hope. Her head's a little fuzzy for being asleep for a...while, so she'll be quiet but generally friendly.
CR/Plotting Desired:* lmao the only character I have that'll be relatively pleasant. I'm up for just about anything with Fang -- she's pretty chill, kind of a flirt...she likes to drink! She also enjoys sparring. She didn't mind being crystal for...ages, but she will openly curious and quietly pleased to have the opportunity to stretch her legs.

OKAY THEN. First thing I would like to do is have Takegami step up a bit more. So far it has been a little bite here, some hidden stuff there, but I would love to get a thing going where he leads all you sneaky detective types around trying to catch him. That is a fun thing in his mind, although he can't exactly go off the island and hid in a different place, now can he. Also would like to see what will happen from the missions aftermath cuz he was not careful during the mission.

I would also like to work on the roommate angle and see what kind of plottings can go on there. Takegami has things set up the way he likes it and I am sure that there are gonna be head-buttings from that angle.

Three main things:

1) Mage club. The last mage meeting was cool but Anders wants mages to meet regularly because he misses losing at cards OH WAIT never mind sooo I'm thinking he's going to start having regular mage meetings that morph into poker night / craft parties.

2) Sewer expedition! I'll post to the OOC comm about this when plans start to solidify. Some preliminary brainstorming has happened in plurk (especially with MAGEBROS but anyone will be welcome - we'll try to divide it up into balanced small parties like a good dungeon crawl should be). We'll also be checking with the mods as to what loot we can find on this sewer expedition, though loot isn't the objective.

3) big gay Grey Warden wedding I don't actually know that this is happening this particular month. Maybe it'll just be a big gay Grey Warden engagement party.

I want Anders to learn to knit.

Ser Pounce-a-lot will have returned from the timetraveling mission 20% bigger than before, which is in turn an increase upon a 120%-of-normal-size Pounce (he also gained 20% from the Assyrian mission). Anders will have to stop carrying him around. Perhaps a Pounce conveyance is in order.

I do want serious discussions and friendships and stuff too, I swear.

Upcoming Plans: Nathaniel's going to get himself a dog at some point -- still working out the details. Sewer crawls and safehouse stuff are still in the works, I think.
CR/Plotting Desired:* This month was crazy, so my activity was spotty at best. I'd like Nathaniel to at least become familiar with as many of the Transports as possible, even if it's just on an acquaintance level. I also really, really need to find a purpose for Nathaniel in Exsilium. He's decided that he doesn't want any kind of "official" leadership position, and that he needs to stay out of politics completely, as that goes against the Wardens' code (King Alistair is an obvious exception). I'd like him to maybe take on some sort of big brother / mentor role with one or more people, or maybe he could be a combat trainer? idk, Nathaniel's just not the type of person to be idle, so I need to find some kind of niche for him.
Additional Notes: I missed out on a whole bunch of intros, so if any of the pre-mission newcomers would like me to backtag them, I'd be super happy to -- just let me know! I'm going to try and catch up on everything this weekend.

I feel like it would be IC for Nathaniel to be the guy that shows the new arrivals where the subway safehouse and other undercity stuff are, once we get all that completely established. And maybe teaching survival skills. He's just so full of useful knowledge that people from modern civilizations don't necessarily know. Could take people out into the Outlands for camping trips and How To Build Fires And Snare Squirrels.
