Welcome to Exsilium's Monthly CR Meme! This will be for the month of January, and participation is completely optional. Leave a comment below with the following format and you can get in touch with other players for all sorts of plans for the future, for CR and plots for your characters.

Character: Katniss Everdeen ★ The Hunger Games ★ resolve
Character Info: Survivor of two Hunger Games, reluctant revolutionary, stoic girl on the outside who is a veritable hurricane of emotions under the surface. And you shouldn't get in the line of fire of one of her arrows.
Upcoming Plans: Not much on tap! Continuing to poach penguins get settled into winter wonderland, that kind of thing
CR/Plotting Desired: I sound like a broken record, but basically not much different from last round! I'm always up for missions or winter creature hunting shenanigans, especially now that the holidays are over and life is settling into more of a routine again for me on the OOC front. I'm also up for a wide range of CR, from adult/mentor types, to younger kids she can exercise some of her older sister instinct on, to more people her own age... it's all game.

Character: Raiden ★ Metal Gear ★ highfrequency
Character Info: Five pounds of impulsive, violence-loving neural tissue grafted to a spinny death machine. He works as security for the (Old) Initiative and stood against the mutiny in November.
Upcoming Plans: Working with Sunny on the AI plot, helping rebuild shelters, starting a training program.
CR/Plotting Desired: Friends who can repair him and deal with his nonsense, enemies that torment him, anything really! I'd really like to explore his more violent nature at some point.
Also, getting back into OLD CR. I know some people have wanted to do things in the past couple of months but I got really busy with the holidays from roughly Thanksgiving forward and what time I had was mostly used for in game world events. So if I have offered plotting with you before, I am still interested!
Additional Notes:

-Has a Papa Wolf instinct towards children. Let me know if you're interested in him trying to keep your character safe from combat if you play a young or young-looking character.
-Is still suppressing his killing instinct (Jack the Ripper) but this side of him may emerge if he fights someone he really wants to see dead. The Ripper is basically to Raiden what Battosai is to Kenshin.
-Loves movies and anything having to do with samurais and ninjas. Ask him about King Kong. Do it.
-Horrible night terrors still shake him up when he attempts to sleep, so he's an insomniac. You are likely to see him wandering at strange hours.
-Practices katsujin-ken, the art of the Life-Giving Sword. He is hugely devoted to this, which means he will probably try to protect your character whether they (ICly) want or need it or not.
-Professional military trainer. Teaching soldiers how to fight and keep peace was part of his job back home so he'd be willing to train your character if they wanted him to.
-Sometimes vomits unsolicited advice or military trivia all over people.
-Not a bad person but deeply troubled. His world is one of moral grays and his violent, tragic history (it's a Metal Gear thing) has left him with a pretty bleak view on life.

Upcoming Plans:

• hopefully renovating and stabilizing emergency shelters
  
• however, shelters are useless if the UE can still drop bombs on them, so she's wondering how to tackle/deplete that

Luke needs to finish mending their somewhat broken fence. Possibly by bringing some kind of peace offering or just having a sit=down and a chat.

That aside, he's willing to back up efforts with the New Initiative and so on.

Character Info: Wayne's a conman and a thief who has stumbled into a fake life of semi-luxury after a tragic car accident led him to take the identity of a lawyer named Doug Rich in the hopes that by doing so he could provide a better life for his family than the one they had before. He's a decent person for someone who's about halfway morally bankrupt, loves money, his kids, etc. but he's also done things like helped to cover up a murder/bury the body, so you know.
Upcoming Plans: Nothing too concrete yet; December was crazy for me so I had to hiatus but I would like to get involved again! And at least 1) have him get the things he said he'd pick up for people to them and 2) follow up with trying to organize some kind of structured code/system to keep things better defined. Something like that.
CR/Plotting Desired: I'm still newish here so everything, I love it all. Though morally grey CR as well for the chance to play out his "Wayne" side (rather than his "Doug") side would be very excellent as well.

Character: Nanami Kiryuu ★ Revolutionary Girl Utena ★ tragicomedienne
Character Info: Spoiled and bratty former queen bee of her weird middle school with no adults and very bad influences and lots of symbolism. A needlessly histrionic and aggressive bully who is suspicious of most people and yet who is still partially a product of her upbringing. She used to participate in sword duels in a weird game about agency and growing up! She is growing up and experiencing quite a bit of compassion for others, and she doesn't like it. She wishes she had stayed on the moonbase.
Upcoming Plans: N/A. I am considering getting her into missions or combat that she can actually accomplish, but honestly she has really been shining in those capacities where she's gotten to do administrative assistant sorts of things? So I might try to plan some of those things.
CR/Plotting Desired: I've been out of stuff for a really long time and having some trouble digging myself back in, so I am interested in all kinds of new CR.

Nanami really needs...stable adults. She needs stable adults in her life so badly. And also, people to turn her really nasty selfish shit back on her (unrelated to the stable adults).

Character: Oriko Mikuni ★ Oriko Magica ★ precludes
Character Info: A magical girl! Infuriating, ambitious, enigmatic child-psychic who made a contract with an alien to get her magical powers and then killed a bunch of children in the name of saving the world. Extremely polite but also extremely icy and always a pindrop away from going to extreme lengths again. She has a cute partner who helps her out and stabs things for her. She possesses the ability to see the future and wears a great hat. Recently she has been questioning just what about this world she's so focused on saving.
Upcoming Plans: She has at least two of the larger game-changing missions on the roster for the next month. She will mostly be looking to do interference stuff. I am always happy to add more!
CR/Plotting Desired: Like above, I will take anything. I would definitely likely to have some more people around who she can be ambitiously shitty and rude at. More girls her own age...maybe...or adults to win over.
