Hi! I'm Yami, I'm new, and this is Jason Todd (or The Red Hood) from DC's New 52 continuity. Just like in the old universe, he's the former (zombie) sidekick of Batman, and kind of an asshole. In this universe, though, he's also the last known unironic use of the American Ninja trope. Because we really needed to bring that one back.

Anyway, his app is here on his journal, and there's an HMD post stickied and a permissions post somewhere on there as well. I can be reached on plurk @ undeadyami and uh, yeah, this is where I run out of things to say in intro posts.

I'm Bella and joining the congaline of DC players, lmao. I AM... actually really new to DC comics and haven't really read any new 52 stuff or a whole lot of preboot stuff that doesn't involve Helena Bertinelli, but I'm working on it. But yes! I play pre!Infinite Crisis Helena and I imagine Helena Wayne/Helena Bertinelli differences could be a source for confusion. BUT I AM SO EXCITED FOR JASON BECAUSE I HEAR SO MANY INTERESTING THINGS ABOUT HIM. I also play a loser original character called Donny who is painfully shy and goes by the codename Atlas when he is being a vigilante (bumbles).

I have added you back now! Welcome to my sad plurklist, I apologize in advance for the many plurks bitching about inane things like my classes.

I'm a big fan of the Arrowbooks, Batbooks and some JLI and even I don't know how the hell the old DC universe works completely, so yeah no, we'll fumble through this together. Also continuity doesn't matter in the new 52 (they retconned things in the time it took the first round of single issues to make it into a trade yep), so huzzah! Anyway, Helena Wayne used the Bertinelli identity to make a big splash once or twice, but while Jason might have heard of her, they never actually interacted. Or if they have, it's after I stopped reading it. Anyway, I think it would be the same kind of thing where basically everyone in the DCU knows each other through the grapevine, but it's ambiguous as to whether they've ever actually met. Given who Helena pals around with in the Batfam, I'm sure she's heard of New Earth Jason, so we can play it with whatever level of mistaken familiarity you want.
