I kid! I'm Sev and you may or may not remember me from playing Adam Jensen here not long ago. I was considering bringing him back but I don't want to make Liz think of a good reason as to why he's not permanently dead anymore – plus I think he's had a good run – but hey I have another buff bearded guy in my RP repertoire, isn't that convenient.

Anyway, here's Big Boss from Metal Gear Solid, who can never quite decide if he wants to be a pro- or antagonist but if the latest game is any indication, I think he's finally getting comfortable being an unapologetic war criminal slash straight up asshole.

For those who don't know him or his canon, he's a PTSD ridden soldier, like 90% of the MGS cast, and boy war gets his rocks off! Don't believe him when he tells you he doesn't like war, he's just being a hypocrite like always. Aside from that, he's a pretty great guy to be around as long a you don't push his buttons and are interested in hearing him go on about war history and guns and war and some more guns. He's also the A Father To His Men trope personified, so expect him to extremely protective at times and gently patronize most people younger than him (he does get along really well with kids, oddly enough – shh, no word about the child soldiers).

For those who DO know him already – don't let the icons fool you, I just couldn't resist his shiny new MGSV character model, so please assume that there are no facial scars/weird debris horns/red cyborg prosthetics. His canon point is right before Ground Zeroes. Also, I'm running with the recent voice actor change, so for all intents and purposes, Big Boss sounds exactly like JACK BAUER (yep). I know it's hard to wrap your head around at first – I vastly prefer the Japanese dub, myself – but let's try!

God, it really is hard to wrap my head around Sutherland!Snake instead of Hayter!Snake. But I'll do my best. Chances are if we have any CR it will be because Rise needs protecting and is far too innocent and naive to be in a war-torn dystopia. ... At least he's okay with kids...?

Heh, I know it's difficult for people to get used to the new VA but I think Kiefer's doing a great job, though my all time favorite will always be Akio Otsuka.

And well never say never about the bodyswapping...

Also BB will be happy to do all the protecting; he totally doesn't have a weak spot for innocent cute girls, nope.
