operation: clone children, let's talk about that for a bit

Helloooo, Exsilium! This right here is a plotting post regarding the clone children Jaime recently posted about and everything that comes with it. Even though it's a little less pertinent than supply runs and the whole Exsilium-is-entirely-destroyed-and-also-radioactive thing, Jaime's going to be going around digging for information and people who can figure out exactly what's going on in the UE... as well as considering if it's even possible to save the clones.

Which means he's going around as the Blue Beetle and snooping like a mad thing. He'll be very transparent about the fact that he intends to share whatever information your characters give him and that he would ideally like to salvage lives, not throw them out of existence. He will be primarily looking for:

A: Scientists who may understand clone things not you dist
B: Transports who were captured who don't mind sharing what happened to them
C: People who have made discoveries that may be pertinent, particularly about the tanks the clones were kept in (as Gordon Freeman found) or the Chimera Project
D: People who had fought against the clones and can contribute more to any observations
E: Anyone who's good at thinking things through and planning shit, more or less. Someone come veto everyone's ideas and theories! Propose your own! Etc., etc.

ANYWAY, those who showed interest in Jaime's post - or people who Jaime has approached/people who approached Jaime - will be privy to the info he's got right now, which will be updated as more intel comes in. I haven't got any concrete plans or ideas that I've run past the mods, but I figure this could be a fun jumping off point for creating CR, discussions and the sharing of plot information at the very least, so please feel free to chat amongst yourselves here. c:

(Also if you want Dist to be involved, like half of the info is just sitting there on his post in the network, he's just not going to be handing Dist any of the info he gathers privately so go for it)

Chrono's basically in the same position as Oz above (since their info is coming from the same place)! This is actually something that's consistently on his mind even in the wake of no good very bad nukings etc. and he'd be willing to contribute what he knows for the purpose of looking into this more/potentially Doing Something About It. So basically a lil of columns B, C, and D

Naoya fits into literally none of these categories he's just poking around because curiosity!!! And he doesn't like sitting on his butt when weird stuff is going down. :D :DD I'm still trying to figure out what to do with him re: the plot but fufu, delicious info.

He'll probably try to investigate on his own a little bit too, but who knows how far he'll get. XD

Thinker and planner, here! Who may or may not be willing to share what all happened at the UE. He wouldn't necessarily want to share, but if he deems it important enough, he may suck it up and do so.

Charlie falla has been gathering information about the Initiative and whatever they've been doing. She's no scientist but she's a pretty damn good strategist and thinker, so she might be useful to chime in and try to keep people sane.

She's also working with Caesar to find ways to get their technology working again.

Yeah Jade YOU USE THOSE SCIENCE SKILLS. Right now it's looking like Team Science's other main member is Carlos (and maybe Tony?) if you guys want to use that as a jumping off point for CR.

He'll will definitely want to stay up to date and get all the info he can on this since it's ... hitting kinda close to home a lot SO YEAH. He'll be keeping an eye out for more info too.

Tear isn't a scientist and is too new to have encountered the clones, but she's heard about them. Due to circumstances from her home world she has a lot of emotional investment in clone rights (her brother tried to clone the whole world and her not!boyfriend is a clone....yeah).

We have a surprising number of characters that have experiences with clones! Tear isn't actually on Jaime's radar to get ahold of the info, but please feel free to have her discuss it/get it from anyone else here or Jaime himself at either his post or inbox.

Raiden is not a clone but one of his best friends was one, and Raiden himself was a child soldier and weapon of war so he has FEELINGS. Not a scientist, thinker, or planner but a hot-headed sword-wielding disaster waiting to happen.

raphael loves free information about things and he's pretty good at figuring things out if he's given time so while i missed this post and will be fixing that right now ha ha ha he'd definitely be into helping figure out the history part of this all especially when the technology came around and all too

since he's going to be scouring the more peaceful times for information and supplies anyway LET ME GET IN ON THAT POST OF JAMIE'S

bonus he's a master of disguise so if there's ever a time that's needed in regards to that all jamie's got this dorky little guy to count on

awww yes, another helper for TEAM HISTORY. I think Raphael is the first for that type of research (though Jaime will also be asking Helena Bertinelli: (1) high school history teacher and vigilante) but I'll let you know if that changes. :|b

Nate is like... B, C, and E, though he didn't find out a ton of information other than whatever's on the harddrive he nabbed and some overheard conversations. He's perfectly happy to talk about everything that went down in the UE but I can't remember if there was background info on the plotting posts or it was 'make your own stuff up' for the testing and things. He tried to fight the guards and scientists a bunch of times and mostly ended up getting pumped full of tranquilizers for his efforts.

He has sooome experience with clones in his own world - his biological mother was a clone, he has a clone-brother, and probably knows at least the vague details of other X-Men-related cloning shenanigans (that time the Shi'ar cloned Charles Xavier, probably the Stepford Cuckoos and X-23)? He's not actually like 'NO CLONES ARE BAD' but both Maddie and Stryfe have deep-running mental instabilities based in part on the knowledge that they were clones and created as 'tools'.
