I don't know if this was said anywhere but do the transports still have access to the Initiative library and records of past missions and stuff? I ASSUME ANYTHING THAT HAD A DIGITAL COPY HAS SOMEHOW BEEN MOVED but since I don't recall if that was mentioned I figured I'd ask, since it probably informs some characters of possible things they could do.
Who: Rosette, Chrono, Satella, Break, Kevin, Watari, Allen Walker, Maya, Link and Tempest (CLOSED, ten characters is as much as I can reliably run at the same time)
When: Ten-fifteen years ago
Where:Research facility or factory in an industrialized UE territory.
Mission Objective: This group will be specifically requesting a mission to help prevent the attack.
The mission will have three objectives. The first will be to successfully infiltrate the factory working crew based on forged credentials and a little hacking by our lovely scientist.
Second will be to carry out a two pronged mission, the first will be for the heavy hitters to break into a top secret area and destroy what was a controversial weapon development... The real goal, however, will be a quieter mission that that was a cover for, specifically to upload a flawed schematic into the factory's production line to create an exploitable glitch in the missile guidance system.
Thirdly they will be attempting to gather any information they can through the computer systems while they are there. This may or may not have anything useful at all.
I was thinking the mission would have these main components:
Big Guns, IE the really dangerous part/full of explosions
Watari: Has hacked Hell, literally, his role would be computer things
Watari's escorts
Break: Reconnaissance and "ridding" the area of security guards :D
Free agents: Healing, rescue, lookout and of course, the pull out
(I figure where people go beyond that can be hashed out ICly)
Success or Failure?: I would like the primary two objectives to be successes, if possible. The third, feel free to roll for it or it be a failure, since this is a pretty ambitious mission as it is.

Mission Objective: Officially, clothing and personal hygiene supplies (baby wipes, paper towels, shampoo/conditioner, soap, menstrual pads & tampons, nothing would you would need to leave a Walmart for really). Unofficially, luxury items such as cigarettes, alcoholic drinks, hand creams and body lotions, good shampoo and conditioner, fine soaps, etc.
Success or Failure?: Success for them. They'll be doing runs a few times because hey good at it and you don't want either of them bored so it's not like they're trying to haul everything back at once. all of the non-essential items will be smuggled in.
When: Early 21st century

Given the cascades of failsafes built into launch and detonation programs, this is really only meant to create an additional tool, rather than solve the issue, naturally.
I have an idea for a mission, but it depends on a few things.
1. is the revival machine thing on the moon with them, just still in pieces and inactive (due to obvious lack of power)?
And 2. if so, would a mission back to alter the base power requirements when it's being originally built help solve some of the power issues, including that one?

Ibin's looking for a medically advanced and suitably prosperous time period/place to both have somewhat lax security around basic medical supplies, and no real hardship from losing some of those supplies. Does Massachusetts General Hospital in 2050s Boston fit the bill?
1. Yes. The only parts that might not be present are things that are more easy to get hands on, but anything sensitive and necessary for it will be present and dismantled.
2. Yes. A mission (or several) back to alter the way power is supplied to the moon base back at its inception or during upgrades when the Space Programs were still active will help solve the power issues.

Success rates will note the following: the damage to the island of Exsilium is reduced compared to the initial bomb drop. The flawed schematics caused aberrations in the projected damage radius; the nuclear weapon still exploded, and casualties are very high. If live cameras are re-instated in Exsilium, people suffering from the after effects of being exposed to radiation will be observed. It's not necessarily a mercy in any sense, but that mission will manage to reduce damage and allow for some survivors.
Consequently, more people will have successfully escaped to the Outlands. We're talking less than a few hundred, and not all of those will survive the following weeks.
The third goal will depend on what Watari (or assistants) will look for. Please respond with a specific or general idea of what information will most catch his eye. There won't be a great deal of time to peruse the information, but there will be some, and every bit helps.

All of this sounds lovely, including smuggling in the non-essentials past... that one guy manning the Transport Pad, and the AI (who will merely be grumpy that it cannot keep accurate lists of inventory, thank you very much, Cross and Han!).

They'll be sent on their mission with the prototype nodes which help bring back larger quantities of supplies. They'll need to make sure not to attach any of these nodes to the truck itself; it would damage the area around the transport pad, and the transport pad itself, if pulled through. This will be stressed to them by the operative at the Transport Pad.

Mission Objective: medical supply run to keep the clinic stocked with necessities they might need ASAP. Pharmaceutical drugs, syringes, bandages/gauzes, rubbing alcohol/disinfectant, medical equipment, anesthetics, etc. LOTS OF CLINIC STUFF.
Unofficially: Gil needs nicotine patches and Kate might want to pick up some personal hygienic items. And a scarf for someone. And a beer.
Success or Failure?: success, please.

Success or Failure?: RNG it mods. Her objective isn't really motivated by caring for the other transports, although she will try to carry it out as best as she can.
When: 2013, which she'll be trying to specifically stress and request for.

If characters were looking to steal some space suits that'd be suitable for working on the base, what would be a good time period/location to head to? Or should we just make something up?
They may keep finding that orderlies run into them no matter where they turn, but by and large, outside of shenanigans (and one janitor who appears to be stalking them all) they shouldn't encounter anything extremely out of the ordinary.

They're being zapped to 2161, to one of the largest pharmaceutical companies that existed in that timeperiod in Switzerland. Things will look notably more clean lined and futuristic than they do in present-time Exsilium (or parts of the United Earth.) All the unofficial items they are searching for still exist, and randomly, nicotine patches come in flavors.

RNG rolled a fail, but a partial success is also fine! Keep what she does bring back on the small and fits in a backpack side, and whatever she manages to get her hands on and isn't taken away if she gets caught by the local law enforcement is up to you!
