Like all chronic diseases, I've apped again. This is Dan here with Tim Gutterson from Justified.

Tim is a southern boy from Kentucky and he's part of a U.S. Deputy Marshal. With that comes a constant stream of paperwork and apprehending fugitives of the law. Tim speaks with a consistent, relaxed drawl that makes one think that every word coming out of his mouth is open-ended sarcasm. In truth, a lot of what he says is going to be sarcastic and at least a little vindictive at the beginning of his stay(He's not going to much like the Initiative).

He's a former Army Ranger with sniping experience (sit still in a rudimentary encampment for days until you find the right time to shoot a guy) and likely suffering from a mixture of alcoholism and PTSD. He's definitely going to be fun threading with, especially in his intro. If you play a child, he is going to get extremely nervous because of all the imagery of children with guns he can drop into his head on a whim.

Definitely in a more accessible region than the logic that comes with placing a guy with raging hormones in a position of power.

So, Soul Society's roughly at the same reasoning capacity as the U.S. Army from time to time.

But you're old enough to kill a man, and he's older than you, yet not old enough? THIS MAKES NO SENSE TO HIM. He is mature and responsible capable and all kinds of boring stuff like that. Ask anyone. They'll tell you.

And at least he doesn't have the raging hormone problem. So there.

He'd make some proportional age argument and say Toushirou needs to be 1800 years old to enlist or something. That's probably the exact proportional shift from Soul Society to Earth's rotation of the clock...

And then screaming something about Hinamori...

Pfft. There is no such thing as exact proportion in Soul Society. Yachiru is older than him and look at her!
