HEY FOLKS so here is the event log for shadow realming. I tried to include everything you'd need to know in the description, but basically:
--The terrain is very difficult to traverse. It's wibbly and wobbly and shadowy, and everything looks kind of smeared and blurred.

--The shadow beasts are significantly more powerful on their home turf. They can claw and bite and they attack in packs. Their hateful whispers also have the weight of magic in them now, meaning that even if your character was the type to shrug off their hissings before, they will not be able to do so here as easily.
YOUR LIFE HAS NO MEANING AND YOUR HAIRCUT IS TERRIBLE
--That being said, they go down easy once you actually get a hit in. They're just fast and numerous.
--If you really want your characters to get in even more trouble, you may also have them encounter a Dark Rider of Acherus.
look at me. now look at your man. now back to me. i'm on an undead horse
--Dark Riders are death knights. They're not as powerful as Deathweaver and co. over here but they don't go down easy, either.
--Once you've cleared your area, Koltira can send you home. Please mark the thread if you want me to NPC the shadow demons--and if you want me to know some horrible info about your characters that the demons can use, please note that here, too!
