exsiliumooc | SURPRISE PLAYER PLOT

I had intended to post this earlier this month, but then life happened. Sorry for the last minute notice!

Warning for season 7 spoilers!

Starting today, Castiel will be completely unreachable for 24 hours. This might be alarming to some of those who see the most of him (Yoruichi, Dean and Sam Winchester, anyone working at Anders' clinic), after which he will be undergoing some changes. When he returns, he will be uncharacteristically expressive... sadistic, and occasionally a little messy.

...DAT NASTY.

Anyway, on the 13th, rumors of Leviathan will begin to spread throughout Exsilium and the United Earth, as some of them have vacated Castiel's vessel before it explodes a la canon and engaged in a little time travel. UE will realize what's going on pretty early on, however, and will trap some of the Leviathan. But enough of that, here's where you come in.

During the next few months, players may do whatever they want! Including:

1. Try to track down and trap/kill/cure Leviathan
2. Get eaten by or possessed by a Leviathan... and then try to eat their friends
3. Try to track down the captured Leviathan and free them ~~omg why~~
4. Communicate with or otherwise get creeped on by Leviathans (including Levi!Cas)
5. Do an acrobatic effing pirouette and dodge the plot altogether

You are free to do any or all of the above. Just let me know if you plan on having your character get possessed by a Leviathan.

If you wish to be possessed, please keep in mind that the canon cure basically spells certain death. HOWEVER, seeing as this is a panfandom game, advanced technology and/or magic or other mojo will work! I'm easy -- as long as it isn't some simple task to perform, I am totally okay with whatever means you desire to rid your character of it's nasty case of Purgatory worms. If your character recovers from their ordeal (the memory of which can be as vivid or fuzzy as you want), they will remember insatiable, all consuming hunger... basically like they were a piranha let loose in an aquarium of tropical fish.

Oh, have some additional information on Leviathans and when they're about to eat people, they look like this:

ERMAHGERD.

As we approach the anticipated end of the player plot sometime September, Castiel and the other Leviathans will either be eradicated, starved out, exorcised or otherwise dealt with. How Castiel returns to his former glory depends on player action (or inaction). During these next few months, I will be using another account

gone_darkside while

In what way can they be killed? I know the wiki mentions the blood of three fallen angels on the bone of a pious mortal- but are there other ways to do so? I just ask since it SOUNDS like it's okay for us to kill them...but I'm pretty sure not many of us have that on hand.

Just need to know for reference sake!

Seeing as it's a panfandom game, I am open to any means of special attack, technology or other ability! Leviathan might be the big bad in his canon, but I think they can't be impervious to an infinite number of configurations of power. That said, just make it a fight so you can go to town and have a good time.

You are totally and completely encouraged to make it as epic as your canon allows. :D

Shiki can literally kill one soul or one existence out of another existence without killing them, so Shii could probably safely destroy them!

He could! Although mayyyybe to keep Shiki from just popping them like balloons everywhere, these monster souls require a bit of extra taxing effort that wears him out? There are lots of Levi fodder to twink out on... and maybe some of them are adapting to become immune to Shiki's immense power <3

Hm. Wonder how I could work this with Bleach shinigami, since what a zanpakutou does to Hollows is separate the negative energy that made the soul that way. Of course, that's in soul form and not physical bodies.

Could be that the zanpakutou will be able to kill the Leviathans, but the host will still probably die. Maybe some chance for survival, but being seriously hurt all the same. /ponders

From what I know of Bleach canon, perhaps yes... it could kill both host and leviathan. I leave that choice to you -- it could prove a bittersweet end to a friend in desperate and dire need.

Signing Usopp up as a chew toy. With only mundane and mortal weapons, I doubt he can take one down but this sounds like a good cardiac stress test.

As a huge OP fan, I would argue that Usopp's gar and sniping abilities should let him pop the head off a Leviathan with his slingshot. IT COULD BUY HIM TIME and omg let there please be some of his trademark bullshitting ;w;

Is it too late to join in this endeavor? I remember watching most of Supernatural's Leviathan season, and those damn things are rather creepy. Cao Cao isn't precisely trained in handling the supernatural, but he does have a fancy blade that could perhaps put the Leviathans on ice. Though, his willingness to fight one just might wane after meeting one. ~~THEY HAVE TOO MANY TEETH.~~

Never too late! They'll be a problem leading up to the end of the plot sometime September when the Leviathan threat is dealt with one way or another!
