hey there! my name's alicia, and today you get a magical young lady by the name of angelique joining you.

i'm serious - she's a witch - it's funny because witch - magical - okay never mind.

anyway. angie here's coming to you straight from this wacky soap opera from the 60s called dark shadows (recently rebooted into a movie that bombed because it's a trainwreck but i love it all the same and this series is a beautiful trainwreck too and look i'm not going to bore you with feelings about 47 year old shows), and i mean - yeah. she's a witch. basically one of the main villains of the series. once upon a time she fell in love with this guy but he fell in love with the woman she worked for so, through a series of events, wound up turning said guy into a vampire, dying because of that, and then after death convinced the other woman to jump off a cliff. so that should. give you some idea of what's up.

she's coming to you a few centuries after that, toward the end of the leviathan plotline, if that means anything to you. if it doesn't, don't worry. it just means that she's from 1970 now and she also cursed and killed another guy and i am so sorry for how this must look.

OH GOD MY CHILDHOOD IS COMING BACK TO HAUNT ME no really when I was a teenaged in new jersey one of the UHF channels showed dark shadows and I ended up getting kind of obsessed with it

(also it was right after tranzor z - aka mazinga z - and i went wow this looks weird wait this is hilarious and silly i must watch)

(also also one of my roommates loves it and has been known to go to a video store in town and rent ten dvds of it at a time)
