Good morning, you bastards! Only not really, because it's midnight and there is no insult intended toward your parentage. My name is DJ and I am a completely-new type of newbie to this game! I will be bringing to you my original character (shhh, boos are not appreciated): Misha Hunt.

Now, Misha has a silly sort of history. You know those self-insert fics where they fall into their favorite canons, are total Mary Sues, get to save the day and be paired up with their favorite hottie? Well, Misha's life is kind of like that... except she didn't want this, has been trying to get home for the last seven years, and has had to grow up from a sheltered teen into a superhero because otherwise she'd have nothing familiar to hold onto.

BECAUSE OF ALL THAT, Misha is very paranoid about knowing as many canons and fictional tropes as possible in case it happens again (spoilers: it does, but under her own power this time). Please fill out this permissions meme to let me know if she can or cannot know your canon! She will not directly fourthwall anyone who doesn't want it, just to make clear. This is basically for my own reference.

ANYWAY, UM, HI. She also looks identical to Exsilium's own Claudia Donovan, so I'm sure we are going to have a humdinger of an excellent time with those shenanigans. Her weapon is her semi-smart AI, ALFRED, which starts out with a semi-technopathic connection between them that will eventually grow outward into real technopathy with some bumps along the way.

Yeah, I like the idea! I mean, really, it's mostly for Misha to feel safer by knowing the person and really never ever telling them they're fictional or what their future holds — she's only done that twice, and both times it almost turned out to destroy and/or enslave the world, and the second time very nearly killed her. Dude, I've always intended to do that for OCs! Heck, I have it in my head that Misha's canon is a YA series of novels that got turned into a TV show (possibly with some movies) that got wildly popular. Her brother's series, meanwhile, is like Fringe or X-Files with some more slice of life junk stuffed in there and... YES OKAY POINT MADE, SHUT UP SELF. Yes, OC canons can definitely count toward stuff she would know! That's the fun of it. :D

oh, no worries!! we actually have everyone post their own AC when it goes up (which you've just missed, so you'll have a month to not worry about it — and even then, new characters just have to check in for their first AC, not actually post activity). (that aside got really long.)

OH OKAY. I get so confused nowadays with everyone having their AC system that I just kinda go fuq dat shit and keep obsessive track of it myself. Besides, I would never find the threads again if I didn't just link myself all the time.

That is amazing. I do adore finding other people who think the same like I do, it's interesting to see how people conceptualize their own creations! Also, I don't really reply to the permissions post just in case someone wants to edit characters in or out or change stipulations and such. BUT I WOULD LOVE TO TALK ABOUT THIS SOMETIME, YES.

yeah, it seems like every game has their own system for it! we briefly considered scrounging up the AC ourselves, ala capeandcowl and a couple other games, but then looked at the huge character list, and our eyes got all big and fearful...

The story sounds too interesting/fun to have her not have heard of it, and Vanadi's storyline sounds like the kind of thing you'd hear about all over the internet whether you wanted the spoilers or not. On the other hand, I've noted that Misha has the most difficulty identifying drawn-medium characters in real life when it happens, so it may tag a little bit for it to click~
