Welcome to Exsilium's Monthly CR Meme! This will be for the month of February, and participation is completely optional. Leave a comment below with the following format and you can get in touch with other players for all sorts of plans for the future, for CR and plots for your characters.

Character: oerba yun fang ★ final fantasy xiii ★ transgressed

Character Info: Fang fulfills the hot-headed and brash character type of her canon...group. She's fiercely protective of her friends, especially Vanille, blunt and to the point, and kind of a smartass. She's got kind of a temper...well a lot of one, but generally she comes off as p. chill and flippant. She wields a spear that splits into a three-sectioned staff referred to as a Sansetsukon, and can summon a giant dragon/jet hybrid known as Bahamut. She's a l'Cie, and that gives her like...magic powers and whatnot. By this point in her canon, she is also a beast of legend known as Ragnarok, but that probably won't come up.
Upcoming Plans: Nothing major. Fang would like to hunt! She would also like to beat people up, perhaps not in that order. I'm thinking of volunteering her for some missions or w/e because otherwise she won't help the Initiative or well. Anyone.
CR/Plotting Desired: I am actually quite bad at combat threads so I'd like to work on that with Fang. Like I said I was thinking of doing mission logs with her, but she is also the kind of person who would regularly spar/brawl so I would like to try that...with her.

She also still needs people to bother/flirt with/more adult friends outside of her canonmates! Huff. I actually don't have many plans with her but I'm always open to new CR and whatnot.

OH, negative CR. She's actually kind of an asshole so I would like to explore some negative character relationships.

oh man she'd probably knock him on his ass if he wanted her to. Fun fact: I HONESTLY DON'T THINK FANG KNOWS HOW TO TREAT CHILDREN lmao she kind of treats them like she treats everyone, and that kind of works for her and her cr with kids because she's like a cool sexy aunt. but to the point: if Larsa really wanted her to help him train, she wouldn't pull any punches - she'd like respect the fact that he wanted to get stronger.

Gwendolyn could definitely use more lady fighter influences in her life, especially ones who will bother her and poke her out of her shell. She isn't half as confident as she attempts to seem, and more than a little lonely - so positive and/or negative CR is welcome. :D I would also be happy to do some sparring if you like, Gwen's combat style is one I definitely need practice on, too, so I'd be happy to hook up for doing that some time.

Character: kyouko sakura ★ madoka magica ★ invocation

Character Info: Unpleasant teenage magical girl. Kyouko's a selfish, foul-mouthed brat who became that way after the traumatizing double murder/suicide of her family, something she feels responsible for as it was an unforeseen side effect of a wish she made to receive her powers and protect her family. As a result, she comes off as selfish and callous — she also has a compulsive eating habit as a result of having nearly starved when she was younger. Nine times out of ten she is eating something when someone speaks to her. By the point I've taken her from, she's gotten some of her old self back, and has learned that living only for herself isn't really much of a way to live. While she's not exactly friendly, she's at least on friendly terms with all her little meguca friends now. She's still gruff with other people but she's really a sweet girl underneath all that.
Upcoming Plans: WOW SO.

Kyouko went back in time for the last event and as a result she was her happy untraumatized younger self. This is going to rattle her a little, but she's generally okay with bouncing back from stuff like this, and so it'll ultimately make her a little more open and comfortable with other people, after her initial mortification. She'll be way more focused on the inevitable damage control she'll have to do for Sayaka.
CR/Plotting Desired: I AM NOT SURE...she needs more friends and people who can tolerate her (she's actually much better than she was months ago), but other than that I don't have many ideas bouncing around this month. I'm pretty much open to all types of CR. I would actually like more roommate interaction! I haven't really done that in all the time she's been here, so I'm interested, huff. I would DEFINITELY like to build on the CR she gained while she was all cute and young and helping people. I think it'd be interesting for people to have to...figure out what the hell happened between then and now.

She has an open thread and an aged-down post for the WWW and timeline events, so anyone who is interested, I'm still tagging those two things. I plan on putting her in the daycare log to pitch in as soon as I get through some tags.

While canon reviewing I rediscovered Kyouko is a badass, so I also want to do more combat and mission logs with her. Her magic is evolving a little, so I'd like to explore that, oh boy.

I think they actually have a really good stepping stone for future CR - Kyouko might not necessarily seek her out because she's...herself, but if Sheryl happened upon her and offered food she'd be open for smalltalk and maybe like...subtly probing in a tsundere type of way to figure out if she ever got out of her horrible situation as a child. She has a soft spot for people like that for obvious reasons.

SO yes long story short I'm all for a meeting! I still intend to tag bb!Sheryl with Kyouko also when i knock out these other tags, huffhuff.

Character: utena tenjou ★ revolutionary girl utena ★ revolutionized

Character Info: A girl who wants to be a prince! Utena is a cheerful, naive and brave girl who aspires to be a prince after meeting one when she was a child. This is, however, a glossed-over and Disneyfied version of what really happened, so a lot of her behavior is actually in reaction to a traumatic experience. That said, she is friendly and has a good heart...but her inability to read between the lines and her too-trusting, brash nature get her in over her head more often than not. She is an accomplished fencer, and wields a blade known as the Sword of Dios. Her best friend is Anthy Himemiya, and she defends her in a series of duels. They have a p. deep...emotional connect so the relationship often toes the line between friendship and romance.

I PLAN TO CROSS THAT LINE.
Upcoming Plans: Utena got aged down to her 8 year old self during the timeline event. Unlike Kyouko, Utena does not handle trauma well, and re experiencing it will really, really upset her. For her CR that knows her, she will be unusually quiet and evasive while she works things out her memories and deals...with Anthy and the fallout of that.

By the time I'm done I hope to have gotten her to develop down a path where she can gain some much needed emotional maturity! Time will tell if I pull it off.
CR/Plotting Desired: Unlike my other two jerks, Utena is really nice and fits into a variety of different CR. As I've mentioned before, having an adult mentor or a sister/brother figure that isn't like abusing her...would be great. She's not used to adult women so they tend to fluster her. She doesn't like to fight but she's well-suited for any fighting/sparring stuff, and on the more mundane side of things, she's trying to learn how to cook (to varying success...) so I'd like to explore that. Oh and sporty types! I still want her to organize a baseball game...in the cold and muddy rain, yes. Like I said with Kyouko, I'm also really looking forward to building on the CR gained during the first and second half of the event.

Me and Anthy-mun had plans for a player plot to repair and restore the Civic Gardens! As Anthy is a plant wizard, and Utena follows her everywhere, they'd probably both be p. involved.

Like Kyouko, Utena has a WWW thread and a joint log with Anthy in the timeline event! Feel free to tag either; I am slowly but surely tagging both.

Aside from the current baby-sitting shenanigans likely to result from time-skip, i'd love for Asuka to actually start viewing Utena as a genuine friend and not that on person she sort of gets on with when Asuka's not being a total brat and crabby. Someone she cna kinda off draw on for support, maybe.

I think seeing her as a kid might actually help with this a bit, since in Asuka's mind it'll be a bit like, "well, I've seen her at her most vulnerable already."

Which is probably wrong, but hey, asuka logic.

oh man i'd really like that! I think Utena and Asuka already have really interesting CR (it is some of my favorite so far!) and other than Anthy I'm pretty sure she's one of the few people Utena would feel comfortable enough opening up to, because she is p. convinced Asuka isn't as abrasive and terrible as she tries to act WHICH MAY NOT BE TRUE but this is Utena we're talking about. All of her friends are like...works in progress, lmao. The good thing about Utena is that she's so dense sometimes that people being mean to her doesn't register the way it should, so she'd be surprisingly tolerant of Asuka when she was in a bad mood.

BUT YEAH...I wish for more of them being awkward teenage almost friends
