The next time anybody says the word "destiny"... run like hell!
Hi! This is Melon again (Yue Hua Lightpaw's mun) and frankly I'm kinda stupidly excited to bring in this gal. c:
April Ryan is one of the main characters of a little series named The Longest Journey. The original and the sequel tell the story of two worlds - Stark and Arcadia, a world of science (our world) and a world of magic separated thousands of years ago. The fates of both worlds hung in the balanceliterally in the first game and the second dealt with the fallout.
If you're curious, have some trailers for the first and second games.
April is something of a sarcastic and dryly bitter woman with a sharp wit. Try not to mind her attitude at times, folks, she's just lost her faith and hope somewhere between being called the fulfillment of a prophecy and then being 'abandoned' by that same destiny.
And a big white dragon is her mother. Yeah, I don't get it either.
You're welcome to take a gander at her info post. I'm always around Plurk at
iamthemurderer as well if you want to ask questions.

The abandoned feel, not the having a dragon for a mother feel.

And now that The Secret World is finally out, there's rumor they're finally getting around to Dreamfall: Chronicles.

Haha I've always wondered if TLJ's creator Ragnar Tornquist is a comics fan. XD
