Hi folks! My name's skarme and I'm yet another new player who's totally psyched for this game. ♥

The character I'll be bringing in is this jerk here, one Ed Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist. If you aren't familiar with him, just add an actual brain plus a sprinkling of science geekery to any standard loud shounen protagonist and you'll be pretty much there. If you are familiar with him, you might not be familiar with this particular version of him, because he's taken from the end of the 2003 anime rather than the manga - so he may be a little broody at times in comparison, but rest assured he's still definitely here to kick ass and misinterpret things as short jokes. (And he's all out of ass.)

I'm Ishmael, playing Collette (Animorphs), Mia Fey (Ace Attorney), and most recently and (wow not most recently that's Mia) relevantly, Winry Rockbell, who given the different source material and the relative pull points for both these guys from the different storylines means amazing confusion.

Which pretty much means I'd love to know if you're up for shenanigans, since one of Winry's first would be wanting to know what the hell happened to his automail Ed that's not even automail anymore is it. Plus the differences between 2003 + manga make for an interesting study that I want to know if you're up for or not! So like each other expects and yet so unlike. Strangeness!

(It's been ages since I saw the film for the 2003 anime so my recall might be hazy on how the status quo ends up other than bugnuts and hot air balloons and steam... something or another.)

Man I am so up for that like you wouldn't believe, poor Zephy has had to hear me glee about how crazy this could all be in the best of ways. Did you want to toss something up? The official OOC post for event end goes up sometime tonight, but I'm told the gist is that the monsters are now a distant, not so fond memory for the Imports only, and the natives will make odd faces if asked about 'em. Is Ed coming in officially post mutant animal attacks?

Um, gosh, I haven't put that much thought into it D: I've already tagged out a little bit in the transport log, so I figured he'd be there and hear about the attacks but not actually take the time to sit down, research and discover holy shit someone he knows until after them? But then he'd probably try to track her down pretty quickly. Think that works?

Works perfectly for me! Winry's only more recently started using the network -- ah, I was going to do a post with her tonight, if you wanted he could even see that since otherwise all she's done is comment around, so she's not much of a presence on the network until that point. Want to say he saw that post -- or have me toss that up and use it to lead into a log, o rjust have her do this post while he's hunting her down?
