Well, due to RL interfering, I've sort of dropped the ball on Anders' POST OF MAGE BROTHERHOOD — I'd hoped to start a magey thread in the open training log, but I think it's a little late for that now.

Soooo here is my attempt at OOC coordination!

Who thinks their characters would be up for magey magetimes of collaborating on magic and training together across different magical systems?

What do you think would be a good way to go about getting all these mages together?

ICly, Anders is very very interested in doing this. OOCly, I'm very open to suggestions, especially in the interest of accommodating characters who might not be 100% likely to volunteer themselves for this but whose players would like them to join in. eta: or characters who are so nosey and would totally be spying on all the mages

(ALSO IN THE INTEREST OF FUTURE PLOT OR CONFLICT WITH ANDERS, there's a high possibility that Bariyan would be hella interested in the DA2 blood magic system if he ever heard about it HEH)

Zoë's interested, as should be evident from her response to Anders' post. She wants to learn as much as she can since she sees gaining power as both a road to self-empowerment and a way to better be able to help others. She has the good sense to shy away from darker paths like necromancy or blood magic, though.

Mikado is technically a normal human with no magic. But he was able to learn magic in his last game due to the premise. Combine that with his natural curiosity and the fact that his chosen weapon basically makes him a summoner, he'd be really interested in watching the mage training and at least learning from them academically.

Not to mention that even if he can't use magic, mage training is probably a better bet for him for leveling up his weapon.
