For the first of our bimonthly mission open logs, Transports will be sent to a small Mediterranean island in 1802, during the First Barbary War. They will be sent to the island three days in advance, and wait for a Barbary pirate ship to dock. When it does, the Transports will have the task of commandeering this ship and sailing it to another island within the Mediterranean, where they will leave the vessel and its cargo at the disposal of the residents of the island.

This post can be used for plotting with other players, and I'll answer any questions that anyone has about the event and open log.

Nope, it is completely up to you if you would like your character to participate. If you do choose to participate, you can either say that they volunteered for the mission or that they were randomly selected by the Initiative for participation.
