hello everyone!
Hey guys, it is Ophelia! This is just a note here, that is really needed, I think. This post is to serve two purposes: an apology, and a hiatus note.
I would like to personally apologize to everyone for my lack of RP-er visibility, and frankly, my lack of activity here in this game. I spend a great deal of time doing all the behind-the-scenes stuff and I, like any human being, get stressed and distracted and overwhelmed just like anybody else. That is no excuse.
I owe it to everyone here to be a real person presence, and not just a moderator presence. I'm posting this to let you know that I'm taking a full hiatus to re-evaluate my time here as Exsilium's mod, and most importantly, as a player. In my stead, Brette will be taking over my duties. This probably won't even be noticeable to you but I want to make it known for full disclosure! This means I'm not going to be processing apps, answering questions, maintaining the Plurk, editing the pages, etc—if you have questions between now and August 20th, you can still bring them to the moderator account and Brette will be the one to answer.
I love you guys, and this game is incredibly important to me. Probably a little too much; hence the need for a teensy vacation!
Now, on the player front, I want you to know that I am taking the concerns about my activity one hundred-percent seriously. When I return, I'm going to focus more of my RP'ing energy into branching out and really engaging with all of the players and characters here in-game instead of waiting for things to come to me. I am going to be pro-active, man!! In all seriousness, I'm gonna have a better mod-rp'er life balance, and it's going to be noticeable!
