MISSION DATE 2862: FORGET NEMO IT'S NOT WORTH IT

JUNE 11, 2862.
This port-in lands you in a massive, partially submerged research facility and oil rig. Six floors are above the water, 14 below. Three buildings surround an oil rig, all connected by long tunnels with porthole windows giving you a murky, not-so-telling view of the sea around you.

As you explore, you find out the three buildings serve different functions: One for oil/chemical testing and fuel research, one for water refinement and ocean research, and one for housing and living spaces for all the people that are on staff. Nobody leaves, you see; this is a permanent gig. Security is tighter in the two buildings and rig not designed for daily life, obviously, and the projects on any given floor can vary from the trivial to world-altering.

POSSIBLE DATA-GATHERING TARGETS
• The buildings themselves. Score some badges, sneak into restricted labs, jack AI into some computers here and there!
• Scientists. Do a little roleplaying yourself and pick up chatter at the new prototype water cooler, learn about how tough life is when you’re trying to study freshwater fish in the middle of the ocean.
• The oil rig. This structure is 80% unmanned, run by a completely separate OS than the rest of the facility. Clear the hand scanners through hook or crook to score a chance at getting AI some tougher intel. The way this facility runs itself, there has to be a pretty complex brain on it, right?

Soldier Blue will send you your target date to IC inboxes. If none is available, please consider the data sent as a handwaved action. You can choose when to ICly go, and report what outcomes you have once the Collection post is live!

If you have other questions, let me know!
