Sounds like a plan to me!

Fortunately Crucible is quite hard to kill, being a 140ft long dragon and all that does help things. Which certainly wouldn't help on the panic side I'd wager. >.>

I could see to setting up a log for Kili to wander on into perhaps, unless you'd like to?
