A bit about the character: Giovanni is a trained assassin from the Assassin's Creed series. He is way out of his depth with all of this new technology since he is from the Italian Renaissance era, but he has been tasked to protect the more technically minded members of the team to give them the time to work. He is very skilled with combat and stealth. He believes in the cause the rebels fight for, so he will do his best to make sure that room stays under rebel control for as long as possible. Being a assassin he does not believe in killing the innocent and he does see the transports as innocent. The Initiative was the one who forced them here, not the other transports. He would try to subdue any threat as peacefully as possible but would react with force if nessacary. If some one tried to kill him or a member of the team then... the situation would escalate quickly! Giovanni is fully capable of killing.
Plotty things: - I know this is a conflict so I am fully prepared to have Giovanni be injured or even killed during the course of events. - He can also be a reasonable person so it might be possible to talk him out of his position but you would have to have a VERY strong argument. He does not like how the Initiative has taken freedom of choice from people. - And he will be watching both the door to the gravity control area and the ventilation ducts.
