⚔ HOW'S MY DRIVING? ⚔

Welcome to Exsilium's game-wide HMD! These will now be occurring once every two months, instead of once every three.

How It Works:

The gamewide HMD is an opportunity for players to come together and bring each other feedback about one another's playing. Constructive criticism is encouraged, however what that means is that it must be constructive. If you are going to offer up criticism, we encourage that you provide suggestions to the player within your critique. We are here to improve! It is also acceptable to let someone know if you enjoy their playing, but note that unhelpful or empty responses ("Oh, I love you so much!!", "Your playing is bad and you should feel bad.") without any real substance are discouraged.

If you like what a player is doing, tell them exactly what it is and why! If you have questions about their playing, this is what this forum is for as well.
It is not mandatory, and you have no obligation to respond if you don't wish to.

Anonymous commenting is enabled for the sake of anonymous crit, and IP logging is on for the sake of continued accountability. Only moderators will see IP addresses and they will only be checked if things get out of hand. Please remember to be thoughtful and respectful in your crit-giving. Full Disclosure: The moderator team may still be given anonymous, non-IP logged criticism here at the suggestions page or their personal HMD posts.

Additional Comments: I’ve been dealing with some RL issues for a while and I had a recent death in the family which I know has affected my ability to be as fast and consistent as I would like! However a lot of that has been resolved now and I’m definitely looking forward to being more engaged and giving CR more to work with in the future. If I’ve dropped anything on you or made our CR hard to build on for any reason please feel free to let me know because I would love to address the issue and fix it now yes right now.

ICly Dick has been in game for about ten months, has turned thirteen, and while definitively he’s still mostly a really sweet, upbeat kid who's still motivated by the same stuff he was before he’s also been traumatized by game plot and by learning what he would consider unpleasant stuff about his future. Because of a combination of factors he’s become less accepting of that stuff over time instead of more (other than when lots of positive CR is in place already) but I always want to know if that seems weird or if I’m overplaying it at all! Mostly he just needs time to work through it and I do anticipate him getting over it and moving on with life eventually ok I promise.

And! as I know I’ve mentioned in previous HMD’s Dick’s canon point is super early and also somewhat sketchy and weird and self-contradictory because comics. I forever desire feedback on how this is being handled in game and how it affects his voice and if he ever sounds off or undicklike please also feel free to let me know!

Additional Comments: Tony's been in game for just over a year and a half, and has gone home and returned twice, and seen at least six close friends or teammates come and go in that time period, as well as various close CR. Recently, Pepper left, followed by a JARVIS with a body, and with having likely lost what he was trying to rebuild with CM, he's going to be in a moderately negative state again for a while. There's already several plans to get drunk (or high!) with people and do stupid shit, and he'll probably be making dumb things and blowing things up in the VR room because that's what Tony does. I'm also trying to figure out if building something that gets out of his own control could be something fun to play with.

ON THE OTHER HAND shit in my life is suddenly calming down from the last two or three months or so, so I'm hoping that he'll be a little more present as he should be.

Loki's stuck in an odd period of transition where he's pretty sure that he's dead, but he isn't quite sure what exactly he's doing here. I think he's mostly going to kind of start jumping into things trying to help people ... in his ... own way ... and re-direct his focus until he's really forced to deal with the aftermath of what happened to him. OH THERE WAS ALSO ANOTHER LOKI HERE and he knows that and it's got him in a bit of a huff. There will be a lot of network reading for him to do.
