That is entirely possible! She'd be working with the Hydroponics expert, and their primary focus would then be in both keeping those plants stable and trying to get what supplies they have in order and figure out what they still need to make things function properly. (Shopping lists, anyone?) She'll also be hearing a lot on the updates as they make ready to reclaim the Agriculture Wing.

All the hydroponics projects will be on back-up generators so that they keep running even when the power in the Moon Base is in flux, or otherwise on life support maintenance only.
