At some point I would love for Raiden to get involved with this. He won't be a cop but he does work security for the Initiative, so he is pretty close (though he considers himself a security guard more than an officer).

Thing is Raiden, if moved to rage or desperation, is incredibly violent and may kill someone which the police would probably disapprove of. I think this sort of negative CR could be fun, but if you (the police players) would rather not deal with that sort of IC drama I can stay out of it, I wouldn't take it personally.
