riku's a character that's usually warped to be mean, possessive and manipulative in big parts of fandom--it's really off the mark since he wants to protect people so it's a bit... awkward, i hadn't known you were joking and thought you might've just been exposed to the first game, wherein he is a jerk because he's hiding his abandonment issues. which kind of makes people think they can get negative CR out of him when he wouldn't be mean to them at all. /awkward tl;dr

nonetheless, i think miranda and larsa might hit it off--larsa doesn't usually play caretaker, but he has a knack for calming people older than him. anything planned in her direction?

Oh, no, I've played Riku before myself. I've got experience with his background and I know why he's the way he is. I'm in the process of playing through Dream Drop Distance which gives even better perspective on his character growth, but I never assumed Riku would bully her. Perhaps be a little abrasive at first depending on his canon-point, but not actually mean to her.

We can play Miranda and Larsa out and see where it goes. I'm certainly up for as much CR as I can get.
