WELLLLLL, his rival/friend/the guy he's got a very secret crush on is shortly going to lose to despair and the monster in his head, and die, allowing that monster to take over his body and wreak havoc in exsilium.

He has no idea about this, except that Haruto seems kind of out of it and he's worried about it but also worried about letting Haruto know that he's super worried about him and that he has a lot more feelings about him than he would like to admit to himself.

Eventually, Nitoh will have to kill and eat this monster that Haruto has turned into for the good of Exsilium and also to keep himself alive, since Haruto was his only source of mana without the monsters to battle. It'll crush Nitoh...

yes this sounds excellent i'd be glad to help with this! so, how much detail would you like? we can go with a majorly foreboding vision of variable vagueness, an actual tarot reading that ends in a warning she is really upset while delivering, or maybe some combination of the two, like the last card of a reading triggering a vision

or it could even be a vision she has to relay more generally because she gets it before even knowing who he is in particular!

also, what kind of timing is this plot looking at? how far in advance would you like any kind of foreknowledge to be?

WELL, no matter how detailed the detail is, Nitoh will try his damnedest not to believe Haruto would despair. He's seen him go through worse things than this (in his estimation) and he's never seen him get even close to despair. Dragon is the phantom, so anything involving dragons will probably spook him severely.

It'd be cool if she got the vision before really knowing him, especially since the Phantom will be a danger to everyone in Exsilium. But he's really personable and he'd definitely go forward to see what's going on in his future if she offered. He's also in danger himself, the monster inside him could eat him if he doesn't feed it, so even if he'll continue to look on the bright side, he kind of wants to see what things are in store. So it's up to you, really!

We've been having some trouble getting the plot going because of other Exsilium plots happening, but Sandy/Haruto says bottom line the plot is going down by the end of the month/first week of August. Anytime before it happens is fine by me, earlier might be better cos if there's no immediate trigger it will probably end up being a slow burn. So getting the tipoff early enough to disregard it is probably the best. :V

if it poses a threat to exsilium as a whole, i'm thinking the best way to go about it might be to do an open network post sometime in early july. i've been wanting to have her do a debut on the network, so that'll give me a good opportunity for it.

i could include a few vague phrases to tip nitoh or haruto off that the vision could be related to them, if you have any in mind. maybe something about "a phantom hanging over exsilium", if that might work?

they will probably end up keeping an eye out for phantoms that may come into exsilium and not think about the fact that it could... just be Haruto.

Ohp, change of plans, the personal mission that Sandy was waiting for to start the plot just dropped, so he'll actually be leaving on the mission on like Wednesday? So if you want to do it more as a STRANGERS PASSING ON THE STREET thing than a big intro memo, that's cool w me :3c

Nope, it's just moved up. The outcome is the same, it's just that it's happening on Sunday instead of by the end of the month. Hoorayyyy
