Plot: Mad God's Rebirth

Upon returning from the upcoming mission Loki will revert to his usual age. Time rushing to catch up with him will also bring with it the various unhappy feelings that have turned adult Loki into (using his own words) "a creature of spite and will". He will attempt, unsuccessfully, to resist becoming the being he was before the event. Life sure is fun when you're a deity.

What does this mean for Exsilium? On February 1st, people all over the island will start to experience negative emotions. These emotions can be rage, sadness, stress, hatred, jealousy, anything you want, really. Your character can also experience them however strongly you want. They can flip tables or just feel like they're having a generally lousy day. Some characters may also be plagued by this at night and have vivid nightmares.

The event will last for a week, petering out at the end as Loki regathers his thoughts and emotions by simply existing. He won't make it known that he was responsible for any of this but if you play some type of magical or psychic character that you feel would be able to trace it to him, let me know. (There is a chance he'll take responsibility if he suspects he can get sympathy for doing so)

A few things to keep in mind for this event:

  • Emotions are changed, but not personality! Your character won't suddenly Hulk out unless they already have a violent temper that would allow for that.
  • While the event lasts a week, it should start to slow down after five days or so. And you are welcome to play with the emotions plot for even less than that, if you want to. Your character might have one bad day then be fine the next. Think of the "week" as being a maximum here.
  • This mini plot is completely optional. Don't want to take part? No need to!

This is all mod-approved and, for any potential appers reading this, if you want to get involved in the plot too when it "goes live", then please do so!

Plotting, questions, comments and concerns can all go here. And if people feel strongly that this plot should not happen, let me know that too.
