It would be dependent on the family, definitely! I'd say they're regarded highly overall, since they're looked at as the future—from the family standpoint they're regarded as their future world makers who could potentially get them out of this mess and to the Initiative they're looked at as the most prioritized prize to be protected, basically, because children are an indicator that their resistance has a true chance at survival IF THAT MAKES SENSE
