Maya's weapon allows her to project psychic shields, so I'd really love for her to discover it this plot by trying to protect someone! Either from bombs or from debris or something down in the tunnels

I also forsee her exploring, maybe going back up while there are still bombs (A++ Maya) so if anyone wants to deal with that nonsense
