wow this is overdue

So! For a while now, Snow's had a little cafe/bar up and running in an old building he's fixed up. There hasn't been any big fanfare, but he's probably been open for about a month, and since he's going to announce it soon I figured I'd put some details up here for everyone.


The cafe is home to both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, as well as smaller meals. It'll eventually look something like this, but it's nowhere near as swag yet — Snow will be making constant improvements over time. Everyone is free to use it for CR and logs and whathaveyou, if your characters would rather use a transport-owned place than one of the NPC options.

Employment-wise, he will be looking for bartenders, cooks and waiters/waitresses, as well as people for odd jobs like cleaning/entertainment/etc. Snow isn't picky, so there aren't many prerequisites; he'll happily teach anyone who wants to learn. For those wondering, he's a super chill boss — if you've talked to him at least once you'll be good to go, and all he'll want from strangers is to show up and have a chat before he makes a decision. I don't have any set numbers on these!

I'll have a post up in his journal soon with more information, but generally assume the food/drink is of a pretty high quality. Some of it might have funny names (like the moogle or cactuar), but nothing too freaky looking. He does requests, and he's also a bit of a loser, so if anyone wants embarrassing birthday cakes or dates gone wrong than that can be arranged too.

eta; whoops forgot some things that came up in the comments. The name of the place is NORA Cafe, and everyone is 100% free to do whatever they want with it short of like... blowing the place up. I don't need to be pinged unless there's going to be any damage or huge dramatic fights going on inside. c:

the performance things sounds cool too! he just likes things to be bright and happy for everyone, so anything goes. if she ever needed a second person/tree prop/whatever he could be roped in because that would sound like fun to him tbh.

Oh man, I'm totally editing the last post I made so that it's at this place. So nice to have a bright, happy location here. Does it have a name yet? Also, Johnny would be more than willing to provide music, so long as Snow likes punk/metal/rock for the atmosphere. As much as one can be punk on an acoustic guitar, anyway.

HONESTLY SNOW DOESN'T CARE :') he's not captain responsible, so long as she was interested he'd be happy to show her anything she needed and give her a shot. he doesn't have any ~professional training~ or anything either; the whole thing started off as a project between friends back home to fund their monster killing expeditions, so he has nothing against newbies.

ty!! and haha yeah the bartending is probably the one thing he'd be age aware on (though the legal drinking age probably 18 on cocoon, given lebreau runs their entire bar at 19 oops). whatever you want otherwise would be cool though, he's fine at taking on anyone so long as they're enthusiastic.
